Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you run. Each dimension maps to a specific instance size across the t2, t3, t3a, m3, and m4 families. Smaller instances like t2.small and t3.small suit lighter workloads. Larger instances like m4.16xlarge and t3.2xlarge carry more compute and memory for heavier use. You pick one instance type at launch, and your hourly cost follows that choice. Pricing scales with the size and capacity of the instance you select. There are no upfront commitments; billing runs per hour of usage.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each dimension maps to one running EC2 instance of that type, billed per hour it runs. The rate covers the Wiki.js software plus support from Hossted. Compute and memory scale with the instance family and size you pick, so heavier instances cost more per hour.
Software charges meter running time only. When an instance is fully stopped or powered off, hourly software charges stop accruing. Underlying AWS storage fees for the attached volume may still apply while the instance is stopped. Charges resume once you start the instance again.
You can connect the running VM to the Hossted Platform for real-time monitoring, automated updates, security features, and analytics. This connection is optional and manages the app in one place. Your marketplace charge is still the hourly rate tied to the EC2 instance type you launch.

To reach your application, after a successful deployment, locate the Public IP Address and paste it into your browser address bar. The page might take a few minutes to appear. Wiki.js will answer on https. Credentials will be available in VM's message of the day (and /etc/motd file).
