Automation has transformed document verification and daily file backup while reducing errors

    Reviewed on Aug 27, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I have completed multiple projects with UiPath Platform, and the current one I can discuss is Azure Sync, which syncs files present in SharePoint to the Azure container.

For the Azure Sync automation in my daily workflow, SharePoint is maintained by multiple projects and multiple users who upload, delete, or edit files. Since not everyone can access the Azure container and it should be stored as a backup, the bot syncs files every day with two triggers: morning and evening. Whatever users do to the files in SharePoint is synced to the container as well. If a file is edited, modified, or deleted, the same action happens in the Azure storage container to maintain a backup of everything occurring daily.

I can also discuss a project where I worked on KYC verification for credit card appliers with UiPath Platform. I used Document Understanding and APIs to verify images and Aadhaar card numbers, PAN card numbers, and other information.

    What is most valuable?

The agents are now trending with UiPath Platform, and the activities available are numerous compared to other tools I have worked with. I believe UiPath Platform is the best compared to others.

Document Understanding has been helpful in my projects with UiPath Platform.

Document Understanding assists me in KYC verification, where it extracts images, signatures, names, dates of birth, and other information.

UiPath Platform has helped improve our ROI. Most cases have reduced time comparatively.

UiPath Platform helped convert a project's time limits from four hours to 20 minutes, which is a great benefit to the company.

It has reduced human error and freed up employee time. Humans make mistakes that bots will not make, thus reducing errors.

    What needs improvement?

In my current process with UiPath Platform, I experienced an issue with a SharePoint activity and raised a ticket with the UiPath support team. The initiative was good—they came with a call and all—but the issue did not resolve even after two to three months. The support team may need to improve response times and resolution effectiveness.

In documentation, providing examples along with how the activity works would be more helpful.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using UiPath Platform for four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    UiPath Platform is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It is impressive to see how UiPath Platform's scalability works.

How are customer service and support?

UiPath Platform's customer support is very good. I rate the customer support an eight on a scale of one to ten.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have been working in RPA for five years. Previously, I was working with Automation Anywhere and now I am working with UiPath Platform.

I evaluated Automation Anywhere before choosing UiPath Platform.

    What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment where the bots converted time from four hours to 20 minutes.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for UiPath Platform is higher, but it can be justified when compared to other platforms.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I worked with Automation Anywhere and switched to UiPath Platform because users are picking UiPath Platform rather than Automation Anywhere comparatively.

What other advice do I have?

AI agents have been improved regarding UiPath Platform's governance and security.

I have come across UiPath Academy courses and certification courses. Academy is the most valuable resource.

The events and DevCons conducted by UiPath provide significant value to me as part of the user community.

UiPath Platform is easy to learn since it is low-code and no-code. However, it is a vast product with much to learn.

I rate this review a nine out of ten.

Automation has transformed devops workflows and enables reliable end to end deployment monitoring

    Reviewed on Aug 26, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for UiPath Platform is for automation.

A specific example of the type of automation I'm doing with UiPath Platform is for report generation, and it is also used mainly for RPA, Robotic Process Automation, which automates repetitive rule-based tasks that humans normally perform on computers.

As a DevOps engineer, my use case for UiPath Platform is that it can trigger a CI/CD pipeline, monitor the deployment, check Kubernetes pod status, verify application health, collect logs and results, send a status failure report to the team, and perform other related functions.

How has it helped my organization?

UiPath Platform positively impacts our organization by helping to automate repetitive DevOps operational tasks through orchestrating deployments, validations, reporting, and ticket updates across different tools.

This has saved the team's time, significantly reduced the number of errors by analyzing the logs, and reduced the manual effort in deployments.

    What is most valuable?

In my opinion, the best features UiPath Platform offers are mainly automation, AI plus automation, orchestration, integration, document understanding, monitoring, and analytics.

I find myself using the automation feature the most, and it has made the biggest difference in my day-to-day work.

I appreciate the low-code development feature, which is used to build automations quickly using visual workflows while still supporting custom code integrations.

Regarding UiPath Platform's AI capabilities, I find it to be governed and secure because we use AI with automation, and UiPath always assures that it governs and secures data by managing users, permissions, robots, credentials, and automation policies centrally.

Workflows that cross multiple systems normally require human interactions, and the value of UiPath Platform extends beyond automating clicks. The broader platform combines RPA, APIs, integration, and orchestration, making it very useful and helpful to our organization.

    What needs improvement?

While UiPath Platform already has many features such as orchestration to centrally schedule, trigger, monitor, and manage automation bots and workflows, it would be beneficial if it could provide full end-to-end automation, making it possible to automate everything in one platform in a single effort.

The user interface is quite good and very easy to navigate through the different menus and navigation bars as of now, so I have no suggestions in that regard.

I gave it a nine because I would prefer to have an end-to-end automation platform, which is not yet currently supported. There are some things we have to migrate to other tools, and some UI aspects could be improved.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working in my current field for three years.

What other advice do I have?

My advice for others looking into using UiPath Platform is the same as my use case. Others can use it for automation as it is well-governed and supports low-code development. I would rate this product a nine out of ten.

Automation has transformed complex document processing and now unifies people, data, and agents

    Reviewed on Aug 25, 2026
    Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I works primarily with Maestro Flow, Agents and IXP to consolidate data from multiple systems during a booking process. Documents are gathered and combined, then IXP extracts the relevant data, which is routed to the Action Center for human review. Once validated, a transformation agent takes over before sending the data to the end system. This blend of humans, agents, and system data substantially cuts manual effort while keeping a human-in-the-loop checkpoint for data validation.

How has it helped my organization?

This combination of Maestro, IXP, and agents has enabled projects that would previously have been rejected as infeasible using traditional automation approaches. Many prior proof-of-concepts using conventional methods failed, but this integrated approach has had a positive impact at the organizational level and helped win more projects, despite an initial adjustment period.

    What is most valuable?

IXP (document understanding): Previously, extracting data required extensive training and annotation of documents. With IXP, the process is prompt-based—upload a document, write a clear and precise prompt, then validate and refine. This is especially valuable in scenarios involving 150+ document templates where traditional training-based extraction isn't feasible, since collecting and annotating that many document variants would be impractical. Extraction quality depends heavily on how well the prompt is written, but the time savings over traditional document understanding are substantial.

Maestro (process orchestration): The standout feature is the ability to retry a failed transaction at the point of failure rather than restarting an entire multi-step process. For example, in a 10-process workflow, a failure at step 10 (e.g., an application login issue or maintenance downtime) can be retried directly, without rebuilding the recovery logic that frameworks like REFramework would typically require. Maestro also provides visibility into all running instances and includes livestream demo capability, which has made it easier to showcase workflows to business stakeholders (previously this required screen-sharing from a VM; now it can run unattended with live visibility. Live stream

    What needs improvement?

    • Studio 2025 interface: The redesign to mirror Studio Web has made the IDE less user-friendly than previous versions, at least during the initial adjustment period.
    • Action Center row duplication: When reviewing multi-column, multi-row data (e.g., 15–20+ columns), users currently must manually re-enter every field for each row even when only one or two values differ between rows. A "duplicate row" feature would let users copy a row and edit only the changed fields, saving significant time. Without it, some users abandon the review and reject records outright.
    • Storage bucket timestamps: A feature request has been submitted to expose the write date/time for files in storage buckets.
    • Regex visibility in Action Center: Validation conditions written as regex expressions are currently visible to end users in the Action Center UI. Ideally, only a human-readable label should display, not the underlying technical expression. A feature request has been submitted for this as well.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using this solution for four to four and a half years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

IXP had some early model limitations, but recent model versions have performed well with no significant concerns.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Scalability is good. I can leverage all the systems in one ecosystem. All the services in one ecosystem, which is really good.

How are customer service and support?

Support tickets typically result in a direct call from an agent, along with an email trail, ensuring unresolved issues get followed up.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have not used any other applications. I have gone through the platform of Blue Prism a bit, but I only prefer UiPath Platform and prioritize it as it is a market leader.

    How was the initial setup?

Considered straightforward, especially for those working on live projects. Best practices take time to learn, but the core logic is easy to pick up.

    What about the implementation team?

We are a partner with UiPath.

    What was our ROI?

Strong ROI, primarily through freeing up FTE capacity previously spent on manual tasks. The combination of agents and IXP enables automation of more complex tasks, including autonomous decision-making, which extends automation beyond conventional use cases.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

    No info.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

When comparing to other platforms, I would suggest 10 out of 10, because it brings the whole ecosystem in UiPath Platform, from building apps and agents and LLMs, everything is available in one platform, including the orchestration.

UiPath Platform brings the whole ecosystem in a single platform, from the Studio to orchestration, from the apps and the dashboards and also Maestro, extraction, LLMs, everything is coming under one platform. Now I can do some basic apps or dashboards within UiPath Platform, which is really helpful. Overall, when I see this ecosystem, it is all interconnected and it is useful. UiPath Platform is very much user-friendly when all the services are coming under the orchestrator or the Studio Web or Studio and it is all interconnected. I do not have to go for any other platform to get all those. It is really an amazing solution.

What other advice do I have?

    • UiPath Academy is considered a mandatory, high-value resource for staying current on both new and legacy features, offering practical, example-driven content useful for beginners and experienced developers alike. That said, hands-on project experience is viewed as more valuable than academy content alone.
    • UiPath community (workshops, meetups) is seen as a major differentiator, helping users stay current and experiment with new features.
    • Agent usage is still limited—so far used mainly for a simple name-mapping/conversion task via database lookup. Proof-of-concept work with agents has gone well.
    • Agent trust layer / data trust layer: Data security is good, with masked data feeding into LLMs ensuring strong data privacy.

Automation has transformed repetitive finance tasks and now delivers faster, error-free workflows

    Reviewed on Aug 24, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

UiPath Platform is used for bank reconciliation, robotic process automation, automation of websites, Excel-based automation, Document Understanding, AI Center, and Agentic AI.

An example of P2P automation using Document Understanding involves picking up invoices from SAP, the ERP system, and downloading the invoices. The three-way match is then performed. Data is extracted from the invoices, and using the OCR in Document Understanding after the extraction of the invoices, the data is converted into a readable, structured data table. Once the three-way match is completed and everything is correct, the posting is performed using UiPath Platform.

The team prepares proof of concepts and data for clients. They create and transform the business processes that have been done repeatedly manually into software processes using UiPath Platform. All processes are automated.

    What is most valuable?

The most valuable feature in UiPath Platform is the Orchestrator function, where bots which are live for multiple machines in different environments and different tenants can be orchestrated and maintained. This can all be done from the same cloud server, making it one of the main USPs for UiPath Platform.

Managing the bots has been incredible in Orchestrator. Multiple RPA tools have been used, and UiPath Platform has the best system to manage and orchestrate all the bots.

Document Understanding is a very unique and valuable feature of UiPath Platform, where any kind of structured or unstructured document can be trained. Once the training is done, an ML skill can be added and created, due to which all the required data can be extracted from a document and then used further on. AI Center allows the use of multiple UiPath Platform-given ML skills that can be used to perform sentiment analysis or read invoices, bank receipts, and other documents.

UiPath Platform has increased productivity for most clients and has reduced errors significantly. Manual errors which were causing pain points have been reduced significantly. Currently, there are no errors, and 99% of the problems are solved because of UiPath Platform.

    What needs improvement?

UiPath Platform can be improved by including more partner programs and providing a good amount of units for partners so that more things can be explored, such as building more Agentic AI or automation platforms and showcasing them as POCs to clients.

The user interface is almost perfect, and no other changes appear necessary.

The accuracy can be improved by ensuring that all the latest models are applied to the AI capabilities.

UiPath Platform could reach a rating of 10 once it becomes more stable in the Agentic AI part. Once all the new concepts which are in the pipeline are finished, the rating will definitely improve.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Most of the things are guardrailed properly. Further analysis will be needed to make an informed decision.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

UiPath Platform is scalable because multi-tenant can be added within the same system. There are multi-folders and sub-folders available. The modern folders upgrade which UiPath Platform introduced has been amazing so that multiple departments from the same company can fall under the same tenant. There is also a multi-tenant role where different company codes can be managed under the same Orchestrator. This is really useful and scalable.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support is amazing. With a gold standard subscription, immediate contact is made within a day. Even as a normal user, the contact is quite faster compared to other platforms.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Different solutions such as Blue Prism, SAP Build Process Automation, and Automation Anywhere have been used. Solutions are still provided for these tools, but UiPath Platform is considered the best among all.

    How was the initial setup?

Microsoft Power Automate and SAP Build Process Automation were evaluated, but they are not very user-friendly and require more time to be spent on the Orchestrator. In UiPath Platform, the setup is very simple. UiPath Platform is the better option.

    What about the implementation team?

The role is both a partner and a reseller.

    What was our ROI?

A return on investment has been seen. There has been a reduction in employees' time and an increase in productivity.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing in UiPath Platform is actually a bit more, but it justifies the development and the quality of the user interface is really good. UiPath Platform could reduce pricing a bit more so that it can be more sellable to people.

What other advice do I have?

If a company is in a high-end category, more than medium, and has a lot of processes that are repetitive, then robotic process automation should be pursued immediately and all processes should be automated through UiPath Platform. A return on investment can be seen within the first year of the automation journey.

UiPath Platform is one of the best RPA platforms in the market. If a high-end company invests a lot in automation, then UiPath Platform should be the choice. The overall rating for this review is 8.

Automation has transformed finance workflows and frees teams for judgment-driven decisions

    Reviewed on Aug 20, 2026
Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for UiPath Platform involves working on various use cases in finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and pharma-based projects, ranging from a single bot to 200 bots.

A quick specific example of a use case I have worked on with UiPath Platform is invoice automation, planned order to production order conversion, confirmation, dunning notice, and payment run.

The invoice automation project starts from receiving soft copies of vendor invoices for which payment is expected, involving extracting invoice details from those documents, validating whether extraction is correct, going into ERPs to validate whether the mentioned details are correct as per the business transaction, and finally reviewing all compliance and applicable pricing before making a payment.

I use Agentic Automation in contract review and three-way matching of documents, taking decisions based on unstructured content and reprocessing transactions based on the unstructured information available.

I use Agentic Automation specifically for pricing agents to track commodity prices in the market, checking or simulating how my finished goods price would vary based on changes in commodities, what my EBITDA impact would be, and reviewing complete vendor contracts based on the purchase orders we floated while identifying or highlighting discrepancies.

    What is most valuable?

The best features UiPath Platform offers include multiple features within the same platform, ranging from OCR to human in the loop, processing on a logical level as well as an AI level, covering traditional ML models to LLMs, the capability of compliance, governance, and observability.

Out of all those features, I personally find Agentic Automation the most valuable in my day-to-day work because that is the use case we work on daily, and that is where the industry is heading towards, with ease of use even without defining typical tasks, along with observability, compliance, and the AI trust layer; the platform provides everything.

Apart from the aforementioned features, we have Automation Pipeline or Automation Ops where you can discover use cases, maintain the pipeline, or complete the automation cycle on UiPath Platform, and the Process Mining feature of UiPath Platform is also very great but not many customers use it. Communications Mining is again a great backbone, but not many people are using it right now.

UiPath Platform has positively impacted my organization by reducing cycle time, decreasing costs spent on particular use cases, improving system availability, accuracy, execution speed, and meeting SLAs.

It has saved approximately 70 to 80 percent of the manual time it used to take, with SLAs always intact within the stipulated period, and the manual intervention of extracting details from documents, such as invoices or contract copies, has been reduced as it all happens on a system level now.

UiPath Platform has reduced human error and freed up employee time, allowing them to be released from tedious jobs and always providing the right information to make right decisions at the right time.

    What needs improvement?

Regarding how UiPath Platform can be improved, there is not much on that level, but the platform is somewhat diversified in terms of multiple platforms and developing the developer community. In terms of business value, the upcoming governance needs to be a bit more robust and its applicability also needs to be enhanced.

For example, a compliance analyzer which runs for SOC 2 or PII masking and other GDPR rules tells whether it meets certain standards but is not connected to any certifying authority, leaving the source of truth questionable on the customer end. If it can be tied up to a certifying authority stating that it is compliant, it would add value, along with creating low-code, no-code apps dynamically where the layouts and screens render in real-time.

Regarding UiPath Platform's AI capabilities, I find its governance and security good, but it should be connected to a certifying authority for the certificates to add additional value.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

    UiPath Platform is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

UiPath Platform's scalability is pretty stable and it can be scaled to a greater extent without limitations.

How are customer service and support?

Customer support is great as they provide on-time prioritized support.

I rate the customer support nine out of ten because for other tickets, apart from P1 tickets, they do take a bit of time to respond back on resolutions.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before using UiPath Platform, we were making use of Microsoft Power Automate and to an extent Automation Anywhere. We switched since UiPath Platform offered everything on the same unified platform.

    What was our ROI?

While I cannot disclose specific numbers, the annual intervention, processing data, and making judgment calls has significantly reduced.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing was pretty good when we had a flex plan. The initial charge on the platform is built into the unified platform price which is a bit expensive, but if that can be eliminated, the pricing is good compared to competitors. Otherwise, UiPath Platform may fall into a lesser segment as other competitors offer lower prices for equivalent features.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We did not evaluate other options because we had already had clarity and exposure to other platforms.

What other advice do I have?

I have not come across coding agents and have not used that feature.

We have used UiPath Academy courses and it has significantly helped us with features implementation. I have completed around 10 to 12 certifications on UiPath Platform, learning everything from the academy, and all the tasks we have performed are also based on the academy learning.

I think UiPath Platform's user community is really great. They provide online and offline connects for chapters based on local regions, and there is a DevCon which gives visibility on upcoming product features along with the insider portal where you receive early features for testing or beta versions and can even contribute back towards the platform's capabilities.

My advice for others looking into using UiPath Platform is that if their roadmap is leaning towards Agentic AI or automating mundane repetitive steps inclusive of cognitive or decision-making automation, this is the right platform to choose. I rate this solution a nine out of ten overall.
