AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for the software, billed per EC2 instance type you choose. Each dimension maps to a specific AWS instance size, from small options like t2.nano and t3.micro up to large ones like x1e.32xlarge and u-24tb1.metal. The hourly software rate is the same across instance types. Your total cost depends on which instance you run, since AWS infrastructure charges vary by size and apply on top of the software fee. Larger instances give more compute, memory, or storage. Free Tier eligible instances are supported.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the hourly software charge cover, and what do I pay on top of it?
The hourly rate covers the software license only. It stays the same across all instance types. You also pay standard AWS charges for the EC2 instance you run, which vary by size. The two charges appear together and combine into your total hourly cost.
Am I charged the software fee when my EC2 instance is stopped?
The software fee meters running instance-hours. A fully stopped instance does not accrue hourly software charges. You may still pay AWS for attached storage while the instance is stopped, but the software license bills only for time the instance runs.
How is this product delivered, and how do I access it after launch?
It ships as an Amazon Machine Image (AMI). You launch it as an EC2 instance directly from the Marketplace listing. Nginx is pre-installed and starts on boot. Connect over SSH as the "ubuntu" user with your EC2 key pair. See the deployment guide for full steps.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
