Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
Media Manager supports the ingesting, encoding, packaging, storage, protection, and streaming, of both live and on-demand multimedia content. Distribute, automate, synchronise metadata, manage your services, and user-base.
Media Manager uses a single contract dimension billed in Units. You commit to a set quantity of Units under one agreement rather than choosing between separate plans or tiers. This one option covers the full backend platform: ingesting, encoding, packaging, storage, protection, and streaming of live and on-demand content. It also includes distribution, workflow automation, metadata synchronisation, service management, and user management. Because pricing follows a single unit-based structure, your cost scales with the number of Units you purchase. Contact the vendor to confirm how Units map to your specific content volume and usage needs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one Unit represent, and how is my Unit count determined for billing?
The pricing table does not spell out what one Unit maps to in content volume, users, or channels. Media Manager covers ingest, encoding, storage, streaming, and user management, so Unit counts likely reflect your service scale. Contact the vendor to confirm how Units map to your specific content and usage.
Does my Unit commitment cover managing content stored outside the Media Manager system?
Yes. Media Manager uses reference locations, letting you manage assets held in external systems from its cloud portal. You keep content in place without migrating it or duplicating storage. This applies whether assets are remotely hosted or vendor-hosted, all managed under the same Unit-based agreement.
Does the Unit commitment include separate charges for cloud encoding or storage resources?
Media Manager integrates cloud storage and encoding, with auto-scaled encoder allocation so you don't pay for idle server time. Underlying cloud storage and compute may carry their own AWS charges beyond your Unit commitment. Contact the vendor to confirm which resource costs sit inside your Unit agreement.
