    This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for setup guidance, testing, and technical onboarding support by KohaSupport. Koha is a modern, web-based Integrated Library System (ILS) trusted by thousands of academic, public, and special libraries worldwide. This Basic Tier edition provides a fully functional Koha environment, pre-installed on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and optimized for rapid deployment in the AWS Cloud. Designed for small to medium-sized libraries or institutions evaluating Koha, this AMI includes modules for cataloging, circulation, patron management, acquisitions, serials, and reporting. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Version release notes

    The latest Koha AMI release, version 25.05.01, is now available on AWS Marketplace.

    This release addresses critical bugs across multiple modules. Key fixes include: acquisitions basket ordering, circulation fine calculation regression, OPAC patron update errors, and background jobs page crashes. Accessibility improvements include WCAG 2.1 compliance for OPAC menus at 400% text size. Additional fixes cover ILL requests, cataloging, reports, and self-checkout functionality. Enhancements include Template Toolkit integration for recall notices and semantic page tags. Technical improvements focus on code quality and test suite cleanup.
