Websoft9 Applications Hosting Platform for Nextcloud
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour based on the EC2 instance type you choose to run Nextcloud on this platform. Pricing is not organized into feature tiers. Instead, each dimension maps to a specific AWS instance size, from small general-purpose types up to large compute-, memory-, storage-, and GPU-focused machines. Your hourly cost scales with the instance's capacity. Larger instances with more CPU, memory, or specialized hardware cost more per hour. You select the instance that fits your workload, and billing follows your actual usage with no upfront commitment.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit represent for billing on this platform?
Each unit maps to one running EC2 instance of the type you select, billed per hour. The instance hosts the Nextcloud platform. Larger instance types carry more CPU, memory, storage, or GPU capacity. You choose one instance type that fits your workload, and billing tracks how many hours it runs.
Am I charged when my EC2 instance is stopped or powered off?
The software fee meters running instance-hours only, so a fully stopped instance stops accruing hourly software charges. Underlying AWS resources like storage may still bill separately while the instance is stopped. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
If I need more capacity, do I switch instance types or upgrade a plan?
There are no feature tiers to upgrade. You change capacity by selecting a different EC2 instance type. Moving to a type with more CPU, memory, storage, or GPU changes your hourly rate. The switch is a manual instance change, not an automatic plan step.
