You can run CFML code and the new brand JVM dynamic language from Ortus Solution, BoxLang. A sample application is installed under /web/coldbox-site/wwwroot using ColdBox CFML Framework to build modern applications.

You pay by the hour for a pre-configured BoxLang runtime with CommandBox on an Ubuntu virtual machine. Pricing is not tiered by feature. Instead, each dimension maps to a specific AWS EC2 instance type, and you pick the one that fits your workload. Rates scale with the compute power of the instance you choose. Smaller shared instances cost less per hour, while larger compute, memory, storage, and GPU-focused instances cost more. You run the software as long as you need and pay only for the hours used.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each hour bills one running AWS EC2 instance of the type you select. The image is a pre-configured Ubuntu virtual machine with the BoxLang runtime and CommandBox already set up. You get the embedded CFML server and command-line tooling ready to deploy applications immediately.
Hourly software charges apply only while an instance runs. A fully stopped instance stops accruing software charges. Underlying AWS storage or other AWS resource fees may still apply while the instance is stopped, but the software meters running hours only.
Pricing is not tiered by feature. Every instance type runs the same pre-configured BoxLang and CommandBox software. The hourly rate reflects the compute, memory, storage, or GPU capacity of the instance you pick. You change cost by selecting a different instance type, not a different software edition.
