Cloud Multiviewer RDP Edition is designed for operators who want to view and control their multiviewer directly inside a remote desktop session. Running on AWS, it renders the complete multiview layout within RDP, providing a responsive, low-latency monitoring workflow ideal for control rooms, NOCs, and production environments. The RDP Edition supports a wide range of live inputs including HLS, SRT, RTSP, RTMP, DASH, and UDP, delivering high-quality visualization without generating an output stream. All configuration and layout creation are handled through the integrated desktop Editor, enabling operators to build, adjust, and manage complex multiviewer designs using a familiar GUI. This edition offers the feel of a traditional on-premise monitoring system while taking full advantage of AWS scalability, reliability, and flexibility.

If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. If you created an AWS account before July 15th, 2025, and qualify for the Legacy AWS Free Tier, Amazon EC2 charges for Micro instances are free for up to 750 hours per month. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for this multiviewer software, billed through the AWS EC2 instance you choose to run it on. Each dimension maps to a specific instance type, so your rate depends on the compute size you select. Smaller instances like t3.medium suit light workloads, while larger types such as r6i.32xlarge or GPU-backed g5 and p4d instances handle heavier stream monitoring. Pricing scales with the instance capacity you pick. You run the software only when needed, and charges stop when you stop the instance.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover for this multiviewer software?
One unit is one running EC2 instance of the type you select, billed per hour. The software licence meters the hours that instance runs. Each instance type maps to a set compute size, so your rate reflects the CPU, memory, and any GPU that instance provides.
Am I charged when I stop or pause the instance running the software?
The software licence meters running time only. When you stop the instance, hourly software charges stop too. Underlying AWS storage fees for stopped or hibernated instances may still apply, but those are separate from the software charge. You pay for the software only while the instance runs.
Does the software work on GPU instances, and why would I pick one?
Yes. The listing includes GPU-backed instance types such as g5, g4dn, and p4d. GPU instances suit stream monitoring that uses hardware-accelerated video decoding. CPU-only types like t3 or r6i suit lighter workloads. Your hourly rate matches whichever instance type you choose.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
