Usage instructions
Deploy a new Web Safety AMI, open ports 80 and 443 (for Admin UI) and 3128 (for proxy) when deploying. Run the instance and wait a while until it fully initializes (usually several minutes).
Login to Web Safety UI at the http://ip.address.of.the.instance:80Â to configure the filtering settings. Then setup your browser to use proxy at ip.address.of.the.instance, port 3128. Finally, browse the web automatically filtering undesired web site categories, adult sites and so on.

This is a great solution for web filtering and web proxy when using AWS WorkSPaces as a virtual. Nice and simple to get SSO with Directory Services and very responsive technical support via email when needed.
A great solution for small and medium businesses, without the crazy licensing costs of the "Big" security appliances.
