Pricing is organized around your institution's full-time equivalent (FTE) student count. The Essential Scheduling subscription bundles rooms, academics, and events across seven annual tiers, from 2,500 or fewer students up to 30,000 or more. Each tier pairs with a matching one-time implementation fee. You can also buy a narrower Academic and Room Scheduling subscription for the 2,501-to-5,000 band, plus a standalone SIS Integration subscription for ongoing connection maintenance. Both of these carry their own separate one-time implementation fees. Subscriptions renew yearly; implementation fees are charged once. Contact the vendor for custom offers.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
How is my subscription tier determined, and what counts toward the FTE student count?
Your tier is set by your institution's full-time equivalent (FTE) student count. FTE combines full-time and part-time enrollment into an equivalent number of full-time students. You pick the annual band that matches your enrollment, from 2,500 or fewer students up to 30,000 or more.
How do the subscription and implementation fees combine on my bill?
You pay a recurring annual subscription for the software plus a separate one-time implementation fee at onboarding. The subscription renews yearly. The implementation fee is charged once and covers software setup, onboarding, student information system integration, and a two-day on-site training session.
What does the SIS Integration subscription cover, and which student information systems connect?
This annual subscription maintains the ongoing connection between Ad Astra and your student information system. It supports Ellucian Banner and Colleague, Peoplesoft Campus Solutions, Workday Student, Jenzabar Student, and Anthology Student. It carries its own one-time implementation fee to set up the initial connection.
