Foundation Edition allows you to choose the country where you would like your Veeam Vault to reside, featuring 11-nines of durability and fair use read/restores. Advanced Edition allows you to choose the specific region where you would like your Veeam Vault to reside, featuring 12-nines of durability and unlimited read/restore.
Veeam Vault is purpose-built to receive backups created by Veeam Data Platform and your Kubernetes stateful data via Veeam Kasten backups, either directly or as part of a copy and/or tiering job.

Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

Dimensions summary
You buy secure cloud storage licensed per 1TB, with annual upfront billing and 24/7 production support. Two editions set the base capacity: Foundation and Advanced. You also choose data locality: Core Region or Non-core Region. Foundation is offered in both region types, while Advanced is listed for Core Region. Each purchased tier includes the capacity you request. If your monthly consumption exceeds that, you pay overage in 1TB blocks, charged monthly per TB. Overage rates are tracked separately for each edition and region combination, so charges scale with actual usage.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each per-TB price covers the storage capacity you request, plus API call fees for writing backups in an immutable format, along with reads and egress within fair use. Charges for read or restore usage above the included fair-use amount are billed separately as overage.
Foundation is subject to a fair-use policy. Veeam may bill for read or restore usage above the included 20% of your subscribed capacity in a given year. Overage is charged in 1TB blocks monthly per TB, tracked by edition and region. Rates follow published MSRPs for your storage region.
Both editions store data on secure object storage and are billed per 1TB with annual upfront billing. Advanced adds synchronous geo-copies for durability against data center failure and targets mission-critical recovery. Advanced availability depends on region support for zone-redundant storage, so it is offered in Core Regions here.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a unified and well-known platform that integrates with all hypervisors, including the less common ones. In the IT world, it is considered a standard for data protection. Easy to manage, with a clear and organized interface. Fast in managing and restoring systems (even cross-platform).
What do you dislike about the product?
The current product management system through distributors is unclear. Considering that you are industry leaders, it seems to me that there is not much attention towards resellers, even in terms of channel protection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is the tool that allows us to sleep soundly, knowing that our users' data is protected.
