You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance type you run this pre-built Streamlit image on. Pricing is usage-based, so charges accrue only while an instance runs and stop when you shut it down. Each dimension maps to one AWS instance type, spanning general-purpose, compute-optimized, memory-optimized, storage-optimized, GPU, and high-memory families. Rates scale with the size and capabilities of the instance you select, from small shared instances to large multi-core and specialized hardware. You choose the instance that fits your workload, and hourly cost follows that choice.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What exactly does one hourly unit cover for this listing?
Each unit is one hour of running a single EC2 instance loaded with the pre-built Streamlit image. You pick one instance type, and it accrues software charges for every hour that instance stays running. Multiple running instances each meter their own hours separately.
Am I charged when I stop or pause the instance?
Software charges meter only while the instance runs. When you stop or shut it down, hourly charges stop. Stopped instances may still incur underlying AWS storage fees for attached volumes, but the software licence bills running time only.
What drives my cost when I switch to a larger instance type?
Cost follows the instance type you select. Each dimension carries its own hourly rate tied to that instance's size and hardware, such as more cores, memory, GPUs, or storage. Switching to a different type changes the rate immediately for hours run on the new type.
