Celonis uses the valuable process data from the systems that teams use day-to-day to execute processes. It pulls this data from ERPs and CRMs to Excel and uses process mining technology to turn that data into a living, system-agnostic digital twin of your end-to-end processes.

Celonis gives you real-time process observability - capturing every movement of every in-flight process end-to-end across the enterprise, going beyond just static transparency into what's happening in your processes. What do you like best about the product?
Celonis provides exceptional visibility into business processes, making it easy to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. I appreciate how the platform delivers data-driven insights in real time, supported by clear visualizations that are easy to interpret for both technical and business users. Another strength is its ability to integrate seamlessly with major ERP and CRM systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Salesforce, ensuring smooth data connectivity. What stands out most is that Celonis goes beyond simply identifying problems—it provides actionable recommendations that help drive measurable improvements across operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Celonis is a powerful platform, the initial learning curve can feel steep, especially for new users unfamiliar with process mining concepts. However, once the basics are understood, the platform becomes much easier to navigate. Additionally, the wide range of features can feel overwhelming at first, but this also reflects the depth and capability of the tool. Some advanced customizations may require technical expertise, yet this ensures the flexibility to adapt the platform to complex business needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Celonis is helping us uncover inefficiencies and hidden process variations that are difficult to identify through traditional reporting. By using process mining, we are able to visualize end-to-end processes, detect bottlenecks, and understand where deviations from the standard workflows occur. This has directly improved process transparency and reduced manual effort in root cause analysis. As a result, we can prioritize the right improvement initiatives, increase operational efficiency, and achieve measurable cost savings while enhancing overall business performance.

What do you like best about the product?
Celonis makes it much easier to see where processes are breaking down or taking longer than they should. The dashboards are clear and interactive, and I really like how fast it is to go from raw data to actual insights. It saves a lot of time that would normally be spent digging through reports manually, and it helps us back up decisions with facts instead of just gut feeling.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be a bit steep at the start, especially when you want to build more complex analyses or customize dashboards. Some features feel hidden behind too many clicks, and occasionally performance slows down when handling very large datasets. It’s not a deal breaker, but there’s definitely room for making the platform more intuitive for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Celonis is helping us pinpoint where processes slow down and where rework happens too often. It makes it clear which steps are adding unnecessary time or cost, so we can focus our efforts on fixing the right issues. By having this visibility, we’re able to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and make decisions backed by real data rather than assumptions.

Celonis is helping uncover process bottlenecks, rework, and inefficiencies by giving real-time transparency into operations. For example, in one project on Accounts Payable, Celonis identified late and early payment patterns and helped optimize payment timings, which reduced costs and improved vendor relationships. This has improved decision-making, reduced costs, and increased overall process efficiency.
