Overview
TinyProxy is a light-weight HTTP/HTTPS proxy daemon for POSIX operating systems. This is an ideal solution for use cases such as embedded deployments where a full-featured HTTP proxy is required, but the system resources for a larger proxy are unavailable.
TinyProxy Features:
Anonymous mode - allows specification of individual HTTP headers that should be allowed through, and which should be blocked.
HTTPS support - Tinyproxy allows forwarding of HTTPS connections without modifying traffic in any way through the CONNECT method.
Remote monitoring - access proxy statistics from afar, letting you know exactly how busy the proxy is.
Secure - run without any special privileges, thus minimizing the chance of system compromise.
URL based filtering - allows domain and URL-based black- and whitelisting.
Transparent proxying - configure as a transparent proxy, so that a proxy can be used without any client-side configuration.
Small footprint - the memory footprint is about 2MB with Glibc, and the CPU load increases linearly with the number of simultaneous connections (depending on the speed of the connection). Tinyproxy can be run on an old machine without affecting performance.
This Image contains a pre-configured and maintained TinyProxy proxy server that has been fully pre-tested to meet all enterprise and security standards. The solution guarantees reliable and seamless performance in AWS Environments.

Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance size you run. Each dimension maps to a specific instance type across the T2, T3, T3a, M3, M4, M5, M5a, M5ad, M5d, M5dn, and M5n families. Pricing scales with the compute size you pick, from small burstable instances like t3.nano up to large and bare-metal options like m5d.metal. The software cost is the same across sizes; your hourly rate rises as you choose larger instances with more CPU and memory. Match the instance to your proxy traffic needs and pay only for hours running.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
The software fee meters running instance-hours. A fully stopped instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. You may still pay underlying AWS storage fees for the stopped instance's disk, but the proxy software itself bills only while the instance runs.
One unit is one hour of running the chosen EC2 instance with the proxy image installed. The image runs a lightweight HTTP/HTTPS proxy daemon that starts automatically at launch. You pay for each hour the instance runs, based on the instance size you selected.
Your hourly rate changes to match the new instance size. Larger instances with more CPU and memory carry a higher hourly rate. The change takes effect for hours run on the new size. You are not billed for two sizes at once; charges follow whichever instance is running.
