WildFly on Windows 2022 Powered by GlobalSolutions with 24/7 Support
You pay by the hour for this WildFly application server running on Windows 2022, with 24/7 support included. Pricing scales by the AWS EC2 instance size you launch. The seven options span burstable instances (t3.nano, t3.small, t3.medium, t3.large) sized for lighter or variable workloads, and general-purpose instances (m7a.medium, m7i.large, m6a.large) sized for steadier compute needs. Larger instances carry more CPU and memory, so their hourly rate is higher. You choose the instance that fits your workload, and software charges accrue only while the instance runs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What am I actually paying for with each hourly instance rate?
You pay a software charge for the WildFly application server image, billed per hour the instance runs. This covers a hardened, pre-packaged image kept updated for security, plus 24/7 support. The rate varies by the EC2 instance size you launch, since larger instances carry more CPU and memory.
Am I charged the hourly software fee when my instance is stopped?
The software fee meters running time only, so a fully stopped instance stops accruing hourly software charges. Stopped instances may still incur separate AWS storage fees for attached volumes. When you restart the instance, hourly software charges resume for the running hours.
How do I switch to a different instance size if my workload grows?
Each instance size is a separate hourly rate you select at launch. To move between the burstable options (t3.nano through t3.large) or general-purpose options (m7a.medium, m7i.large, m6a.large), you launch a new instance of that size. Charges then accrue at that instance's hourly rate.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
