Nutanix Private Offer Only combines the benefits of the Private Offer feature along with Carahsoft's contract vehicles in providing customers a seamless acquisition process for their cloud-based products and solutions from AWS Marketplace.
NC2 provides hybrid cloud simplicity by extending your on-premises workloads to AWS without any refactoring or any code changes to your apps. The innovative Nutanix architecture gives you the flexibility and freedom to move applications, workloads and software licenses wherever they are required, either on-prem or in AWS. NC2 on AWS is an extension of the Nutanix Cloud Platform now running on AWS EC2 bare-metal instances. It replicates the core Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) software used for running on-prem workloads but now delivering the same virtualized, software-defined benefits in AWS with a unified management plane to manage your workloads everywhere. With NC2 you can accelerate your workload migration to AWS and get your on-prem applications to the cloud faster.

The software unit is billed per unit annually, so the licence covers the full contract year regardless of runtime. You can hibernate unused clusters to save on underlying compute, but the annual unit charge still applies. AWS storage fees for hibernated data may also apply separately.
No. The per-unit annual price covers the Nutanix software running on AWS bare-metal instances. The AWS EC2 instances, VPC networking, and S3 storage used for snapshots are billed separately by AWS. Budget for both the software units and the AWS infrastructure they run on.
