AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before it ends, access to these entitlements will expire.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing uses a single pricing dimension: Nutanix Licenses, sold as units under a contract. You buy the quantity of license units your deployment needs. The unit count typically scales with your infrastructure size, such as the number of physical CPU cores in your clusters. Licenses stay portable across hardware platforms. This structure lets you size your purchase to your environment and expand the unit count as your capacity grows. There are no separate tiers or add-on dimensions to select on Marketplace; you configure the license quantity for one contract.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one Nutanix license unit map to for billing?
For core software, one unit maps to one physical CPU core in your deployment. You license all cores in your cluster. Some workloads use different metering: virtual desktop deployments count concurrent powered-on user VMs, and edge deployments count virtual machines rather than cores.
Are licenses tied to specific hardware, and what happens if I move workloads?
Licenses stay portable across hardware platforms and are available in one- through five-year term options. You can move workloads between on-premises and public clouds without re-architecting. Migrating virtual machines retains IP and MAC addresses, so relicensing follows your deployment rather than being locked to one server.
If my infrastructure grows, how does my license unit count change?
Unit count scales with your infrastructure size. Adding physical CPU cores to a cluster raises the core-based unit count you must license. Storage-focused capabilities are licensed per usable TiB, so growing storage capacity raises those unit counts. You add license units to match added capacity.
