Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
This listing has one pricing dimension, BDP, billed by the gigabyte (GB) of data. You buy under a contract, and your cost scales with the volume of biometric data you store or process. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes to choose from. The single unit means you pay based on how much data your remote monitoring applications generate. As your data usage grows, the number of billed gigabytes grows with it. This structure keeps pricing tied directly to your data consumption.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one billed gigabyte (GB) under the BDP dimension?
One GB reflects the volume of biometric data your remote monitoring applications capture, transmit, and store. This includes vital sign streams like ECG, temperature, SpO2, and blood pressure gathered from wearable sensors. Both live and retrospective data access contribute to the data volume you are billed for.
How does my cost change if I monitor more patients or capture continuous data?
Your bill scales with total data volume, not patient count directly. Continuous monitoring, such as streaming ECG, generates more gigabytes than episodic check-ins. Higher sampling rates and more active wearables increase the billed GB. Adding patients raises cost only through the extra data they produce.
Does the platform charge for data during network disruptions or offline periods?
Wearables with on-board memory store data during network gaps, then transmit it once connection returns. Because billing tracks data volume processed by the platform, this buffered data contributes to your GB count when it reaches the cloud. Offline periods delay transmission but do not eliminate the data.
