Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for the software preconfigured on Ubuntu 22, and your rate depends on which EC2 instance type you run. The many dimensions are not feature tiers. They map to AWS instance sizes and families, from small general-purpose machines to large compute-, memory-, storage-, and accelerator-focused instances. Your hourly cost rises as you pick instances with more CPU, memory, or specialized hardware. You choose the instance that fits your workload, then run it as long as you need. Billing follows actual hours used, with no upfront commitment.

One unit is one running EC2 instance billed per hour. Each instance runs Ubuntu 22 with a preconfigured LAMPP stack and WordPress. You pay the hourly rate for the instance type you launch, counted by the actual hours it runs.
The software rate meters running hours only. A stopped or paused instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. Underlying AWS storage fees may still apply while the instance is stopped, but those are separate from this listing's per-hour software charge.

Usage instructions
Login using 'ubuntu' user and ssh public key authentication. Instructions for initial configuration of Wordpress can be found after loging in on the Welcome screen
Info regarding virtual machines The operating system does not save any sensitive information for the customers. The customer is responsible for saving any information, sensitive or not. The data saved on the volumes is not encrypted by default. All instance authentication must use key pair access, not password-based authentication. AMIs does not contain passwords, authentication keys, key pairs, security keys, or other credentials. PasswordAuthentication is set to NO in sshd_config. The application does not make use of any encryption techniques.
Troubleshooting Navigate to your Amazon EC2 console and verify that you're in the correct region. Choose Instance and select your launched instance. Select the server to display your metadata page and choose the Status checks tab at the bottom of the page to review if your status checks passed or failed.
