AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for this WordPress with Lampp software running on CentOS Stream 9. Pricing follows the EC2 instance type you choose to run it on. Each dimension maps to one instance size, from small shared types like t1.micro and m1.small up to large compute, memory, storage, and accelerated types such as c7i.metal-48xl, u7in-32tb.224xlarge, and p5.48xlarge. Larger instances offer more CPU, memory, or specialized hardware, so their hourly rate is higher. You are billed only for the hours each instance runs. The software cost is added to the underlying AWS infrastructure cost.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the hourly rate for each instance type actually cover?
Each hourly rate combines two parts. One part is the software license for the WordPress with Lampp image on CentOS Stream 9. The other is the underlying AWS EC2 compute cost for the instance type you pick. Both accrue together for every hour the instance runs.
Am I charged when my instance is stopped or powered off?
Software charges meter running hours only. When you stop or power off an instance, hourly software charges stop accruing. You may still pay AWS for attached storage tied to a stopped instance, but the per-hour software cost applies only while the instance runs.
What decides how much I pay per hour across the instance types?
The instance type you run drives the rate. Small shared types like t1.micro cost less per hour. Larger compute, memory, storage, and accelerated types like c7i.metal-48xl or p5.48xlarge carry higher hourly rates because they provide more CPU, memory, or specialized hardware.

Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources.
