This Amazon Machine Image runs Prometheus on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and is prepared by ThinkCloud so you can start from a working deployment instead of a blank server.
Included configuration
- Ubuntu 24.04 LTS with current system updates applied.
- Docker Engine and the Docker Compose plugin, with Prometheus running as a container set configured to restart automatically.
- Application data stored under /opt/prometheus so it survives container recreation.
- A service summary at /README.md describing ports, paths, and default accounts.

This AMI is Hardened by ThinkCloud with security-focused operating-system configuration and baseline hardening intended to reduce unnecessary exposure and provide a consistent starting point.
