Your team still owns application security, cloud architecture, identity, networking, logging, operations, evidence retention, and assessor validation. The image addresses the operating-system layer only, not your broader workload.
Each dimension maps to one AWS instance type, so your rate follows the instance you launch. Moving to a larger size in the same family raises the hourly software fee. The change applies when you launch the new instance; there is no automatic upgrade or term commitment.
