Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for each running instance, with no upfront commitment. Every dimension maps to a specific AWS Graviton (ARM) EC2 instance type, so your rate depends on the size and family you launch. General-purpose (m, t, a1), compute-optimized (c), memory-optimized (r, x), storage-optimized (i, im, is), and GPU (g5g) families are all covered. Larger instance sizes and metal options carry higher hourly rates than smaller ones. You can run one or many instances, and charges scale with how many hours each runs. The software includes NIST-based hardening and PCI compliance documentation.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You pay the listed hourly rate for each running instance of that specific ARM instance type. One unit equals one instance running for one hour. If you run several instances, each meters its own hours separately, and the charges add together on your invoice.
The hourly software rate meters running time only. A stopped instance does not accrue this software charge. You may still pay underlying AWS storage fees for attached volumes while the instance is stopped, but that is separate from the software license metering shown here.
Each instance ships with NIST-based hardening applied and documentation to support PCI compliance. The vendor maintains and updates the underlying operating system on a regular schedule. Support from the vendor's team is included. These features apply across every instance type at its listed hourly rate.
