Gigabits (GigaOps) delivers a production-hardened WordPress stack on Ubuntu 20.04 with security tooling built by Gigabits. Unlike a bare WordPress image, it actively protects and monitors your site from first boot.

Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for the WordPress on Ubuntu 20 (Hardened) software, billed per running instance. Pricing is organized entirely by the AWS EC2 instance type you choose. Each dimension maps to one instance size, from small general-purpose and burstable types up to large compute-, memory-, storage-, and GPU-focused machines. The software fee scales with the capacity of the instance you select — larger instances with more CPU, memory, or specialized hardware cost more per hour. You run the preconfigured image on AWS and are charged only for the hours each instance runs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
One unit is one running EC2 instance of the type you select, billed per hour. The software fee attaches to that single instance. If you run several instances, each one meters its own hours and bills separately against your account.
The software fee meters running instance-hours. A fully stopped instance does not accrue the hourly software charge. Underlying AWS storage for the volume may still bill separately while stopped. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
Pricing is set per instance type. Moving to a type with more CPU, memory, storage, or GPU raises the hourly software fee for that instance. The change is not automatic; you choose the type when you launch, and the rate matches your selected size.
