MaaS360 Review – Solid Device Management with Room for Improvement
The remote wipe and lock feature gives peace of mind for data security in case a device is lost or stolen, works well across different operating systems like Android, iOS, and Windows, so you don’t need different tools for each platform.
Some configurations take more steps than necessary, which slows down quick changes, the reporting section could be more customizable and visually appealing.
It can be a little resource-heavy on older device.
One big problem it’s solving for me is data security on mobile devices—if a phone or tablet gets lost, I can lock or wipe it in seconds, which takes away a lot of stress. It’s also helping with consistency—everyone gets the same policies, apps, and settings pushed automatically, so I don’t have to go desk to desk or send endless reminder emails.
The benefit is that it saves me a lot of time and gives me confidence that devices being used outside the office are still under control. For healthcare, that means knowing patient data is protected even if a device is misplaced.
