This contract combines a base subscription with two optional add-on connectors. FormAssembly Essentials (Units) is the core form building and data collection platform you subscribe to. The Salesforce Connector (Units) is a separate add-on that unlocks integration features like Dynamic Picklists, Form Pre-fill, and Custom Object creation. The Payments Connector (Units) is another add-on granting access to six payment processor integrations. You choose the quantity of each unit you need. The two connectors price independently from the base subscription, so you add only the integration capabilities your organization requires.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one unit of the Payments Connector give me access to?
One Payments Connector unit grants access to six payment processor integrations: Stripe, PayPal, iATS, Chargent, Authorize.net, and Cybersource. FormAssembly routes cardholder data directly to these processors and does not store credit card data. This helps reduce your PCI compliance scope while operational data flows into your systems.
How do the base subscription and the two connectors combine on my invoice?
You pay for FormAssembly Essentials as the core platform. The Salesforce Connector and Payments Connector price independently as separate add-on units. Each connector adds its own charge on top of the base subscription. You buy only the connectors you need, so your bill reflects the integrations you actually enable.
What integration capabilities does the Salesforce Connector unlock that the base subscription lacks?
The Salesforce Connector unlocks Dynamic Picklists, Form Pre-fill, and Custom Object creation. It also supports bidirectional data flow, creating and updating records across standard and custom objects. Without this connector, the base FormAssembly Essentials subscription handles form building and data collection but not these Salesforce-specific integration features.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate FormAssembly for its easy-to-use interface for creating and troubleshooting forms. The chat and email support have been excellent throughout our several years of working with FormAssembly, making it a wonderful experience overall. Being able to pull in questions and predefined content helps with making new forms quickly. The initial setup was very easy, thanks to the onboarding experience with their team who helped us work through everything. Connecting with Salesforce has been very helpful overall and it gives us a central place to ask clients and donors for information for decision-making. It's easy to share information within our small team of about twenty people.
What do you dislike about the product?
There used to be more of a chat support function, and I feel it has been less available lately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use FormAssembly to gather information from clients and donors. We easily connect it with Salesforce to make informed decisions. I find the interface intuitive, simplifying form creation.

Form-builder of choice with Robust Salesforce Connector

What do you like best about the product?
Paying for users vs # of responses is SO helpful for a not-for-profit, especially when sometimes it's very difficult to predict how many responses a form will get. The Salesforce connector is SO robust - we have a very customized SF instance, so this is an important feature for us. As the connector has gotten more development and more features, it just keeps getting better. The quarterly webinars outlining new features are incredibly helpful to see what is being developed and released, as well as getting ideas for further efficiencies and broadening our use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
The customer support is good, I would love to see the chat feature enabled for a more instant response. The documentation is good, however I'd love to see more updates with the new features and consistency in the support library, and perhaps some easier navigation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use FormAssembly for a large spectrum of use cases - including registration forms that integrate with Salesforce, internal employee surveys, and even simplifying Salesforce data entry

FormAssembly: Powerful Integration with Some Connectivity Concerns
Reviewed on Jul 31, 2026
Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I use FormAssembly for all of our online forms, and it plays a crucial role in generating leads and onboarding applicants into our training program. I appreciate how scalable it is and how it allows me to solve most problems after years of use, even though sometimes compromises must be made. Usually, there's a solution to be found if a form is needed. I find the multi-signature forms very useful; setting them up to first be signed by one party and then by another, in combination with Salesforce flow, really streamlines the process. It amazes people who previously did this manually, saving an incredible amount of time. The integration with Salesforce is especially valuable to me. The connectors are super powerful, allowing us to look up and update different objects based on criteria inputted in the form. It's just a massive time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm always a little bit dubious about the quite frequent downtime and messages we get about problems with connectivity, which is quite worrying when we rely on it so heavily. There was a time where emails weren't being received, and reports of an issue often happen after the fact, making it difficult to know whether we've been affected or not. It leaves us feeling a bit in the dark about how it has affected us as an organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FormAssembly streamlines lead generation, onboarding, and surveys with around 60 forms saving time. Its integration with Salesforce for multi-signature forms automates processes, and its connectors look up and update objects based on form inputs, which is super powerful.

I like the look of it, how easy it is to use, and the Salesforce integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t really see where the AI is taking place here. Maybe it could let you create a form using AI, and then make changes to existing forms as needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
easy way to craete form so we can insert/update recrods in salesfroce, outside of the org without the need of user login.
