What do you like best about the product?
FormAssembly is a user-friendly and intuitive tool for creating forms. The drag-and-drop interface makes building forms fast and straightforward, even for more complex needs. I really appreciate how polished the final forms look—they’re clean, professional, and easy to navigate for end users. It’s also very helpful that we can add hints and links to guide respondents, which improves the overall user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few limitations that can be frustrating. For example, it’s not possible to customize the confirmation email or the PDF we receive from the customer, which limits flexibility and branding options. Also, when creating many similar or repetitive forms, the platform can start to feel bulky and less efficient to manage. Another issue is the occasional loss of connection for no clear reason, which interrupts the workflow and can be a bit unsettling when working on a form.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this tool to check the profile and mandatory requirements of future clients

Workflows is the best aspect of Form Assembly. It is a streamlined process that allows users to connect forms. The customer service support is exceptional and offers explicit details through hands-on delivery.

Great UI, Customization, and Exceptional Customer Service

  • January 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I’m impressed with the simplicity of the UI. I can also use HTML codes in the forms to make them more customizable than they already are. I must also mention that the employees are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I’ve had the opportunity to meet a few people beyond our Account Representative (Beth Miller), and they’ve all been exceptionally pleasant and approachable. I want to give a special shoutout to Beth Miller for her exceptional job performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I always say it’s not realistic if you can’t mention a downside or two—if everything is perfect, it feels like you’re not being honest. But with FormAssembly, I really have to push myself to find something I dislike. If I had to point out one thing, it could be that the interface, while functional, feels a bit dated compared to some modern form builders. Also, while the platform is highly customizable, certain advanced configurations require more technical knowledge, which might be a challenge for users without a technical background. That said, these are minor issues in an otherwise excellent product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have some users and clients who don’t have access to Salesforce. However, they still need to input data (such as cases or other types of records) for use. We are building forms with FormAssembly so that we can use it.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about FormAssembly is its comprehensive connectors that make integrating with standard or custom objects seamless. The platform's ability to work effectively with Salesforce integration user accounts is a huge plus, as it helps save costs by avoiding the need for standard licenses. Additionally, the customer support is excellent, and there is a rich, knowledgeable community that offers valuable resources and guidance.
I also like the fact that you can embed salesforce community forms with ease.
Indepth error logs
We currently depend on the platform daily operations and lead generation.
Easy to implement as long as one has admin permissions on both platforms.
This combination of powerful integration capabilities, cost-saving features, and strong support makes FormAssembly an outstanding choice for data collection and form management.
What do you dislike about the product?
More error handling options would make the platform even better such as error notification emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FormAssembly is solving the challenge of seamless data collection and integration with Salesforce. By allowing forms to connect directly to both standard and custom objects, it streamlines the process of capturing and managing data without the need for manual entry. This not only saves time but also reduces the risk of data errors. The platform's ability to utilize Salesforce integration user accounts helps significantly in saving costs, as it avoids the need for additional standard licenses. Furthermore, the rich support community and responsive customer service ensure that any issues are quickly resolved, enhancing productivity and efficiency.

FormAssembly continually improves our user experience with our systems

  • September 13, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Salesforce connectors are excellent - having the picklist lookup connectors to Salesforce to automatically bring in active Salesforce values without us having to update multiple forms is such a timesaver, and gives us much more accurate data. We've also had excellent experience with payment connectors, and are looking forward to the improved Google Sheet connector coming soon. Workflow has improved vastly over the past year, and is making us jump to revamp old forms to better utilize its power. Using javascript to extend the capabilities is also excellent, as is the SAML prefill connector for SSO attributes. Overall it is intuitive and powerful, two things that don't often go together in software!
What do you dislike about the product?
It is expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From general forms to complex workflows with approvals from multiple parties (linear or asynchronous), from payment forms to event registration to contracts to secure views of Salesforce data for non-licensed users to application portals, this is our go-to.

Great flexibility and ability to adapt to various form requirements

  • August 30, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Salesforce connector is the most comprehensive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the styling of fields and templates was a bit more advanced within the platform itself. More Point and click for styling as opposed to code, that tends to be problematic when using REST API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prefilled forms for information submission to pur product in Salesforce.

Access to Salesforce for non-Salesforce users.

  • August 27, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It provides the ability for non-Salesforce users to access Salesforce data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maintenance of forms is a bit challenging. It's a bit of a hassle to reconfigure to use a Salesforce sandbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We leverage FormAssembly to allow volunteers to sign up for shifts. It looks up the volunteer in Salesforce (creates a new account if necessary) and attachs a vounteer record to that volunteer. Over time, we have expanded it's use to allow for volunteer groups to sign up, along with special types of vounteer events. We also leverage the conditional logic parts to branch as necessary. For example, when a volunteer is a minor, we check if they have parental permission on file, and request the parent contact information if not.
