Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for this hardened AlmaLinux 9.1 machine image. Pricing follows the EC2 instance type you choose to run it on. Each dimension maps to one instance size, and you pay only while an instance runs. Smaller instances like t2.nano and t3.micro cover light workloads. Larger sizes such as m5.metal, x1e.32xlarge, and u-24tb1.metal serve memory-heavy or compute-heavy jobs. GPU and specialized instances like g5, inf1, trn1, and p4d support graphics, inference, and training. Your total scales with instance size and hours used.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
One hour equals one running instance of the size you picked. Each dimension maps to a single EC2 instance type. You pay the software charge for every hour that instance runs. Starting more instances multiplies the charge across each one.
The hourly software charge meters running time only. A stopped instance does not accrue the software fee. You may still pay separate AWS fees for attached storage while the instance is stopped. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
Each dimension ties the software rate to one EC2 instance size. Smaller sizes like t2.nano cost less per hour. Larger memory, compute, and GPU instances such as u-24tb1.metal, x1e.32xlarge, and p4d.24xlarge carry higher hourly rates. Your bill follows the size and hours you run.
