Elyxia Global Limited brings you a robust and performance-optimized Bagisto 2.4 image on AlmaLinux 10. Bagisto is an open-source eCommerce platform built on Laravel, giving you a product catalogue with configurable and bundled products, inventory across multiple sources, order and shipment handling, customer accounts and groups, cart and catalogue promotions, tax rules, and a storefront theme you can change without touching code. This ready-to-deploy AMI gives you a working store in minutes rather than an afternoon spent assembling PHP, a web server, a database and a dependency manager, and then finding out which defaults were left in place. The AlmaLinux 10 base is a secure, enterprise-grade Linux known for stability and long-term support.

The application runs in containers. Bagisto and its database are managed by Docker Compose on the instance, so application updates can be delivered without replacing the AMI, and the database runs on an isolated internal network with no port exposed to the internet. Your product images, category banners and generated invoices are kept in separate storage that an update does not touch.
Your store is installed and ready when the instance finishes starting. There is no setup wizard to walk through. The database, the schema, the base catalogue data and your administrator account are created for you, and the administrator password is shown once, at the end of installation.
The exact Bagisto version is fixed in the image and verified by checksum at build time, and every one of its 167 dependencies is installed from the version lock the project publishes, so every instance of a given build runs identical code.
Your admin panel is not at the address everyone tries first. Bagisto`s default is /admin. This build gives each instance its own admin path, and the installation summary tells you what yours is.
Exclusive Fixes and Resolutions by Elyxia Global Limited:
- Your Store Gets Its Own Administrator Password: the previous build left the published upstream default in place, admin@example.com with the password admin123, and printed it to every customer. Upstream`s own unattended installer still creates exactly that. This image replaces it with credentials generated for your instance.
- SELinux Stays Enforcing: the conventional install writes SELINUX=permissive into the system configuration and switches enforcement off at the same time, and nothing ever puts it back. This image leaves the kernel`s mandatory access control on.
- Database Closed to the Internet: MariaDB runs on a private network inside the instance with no published port, where the conventional install listens on every interface. Bagisto is reachable only through the HTTPS proxy.
- Installation Cannot Report Success After a Failure: the previous installer declared success when a file it had copied itself was present, so a failed dependency install or a failed migration still printed the success summary. This build checks what the installation actually produced, and stops if it is not there.
- Every Dependency Pinned: the previous build resolved its PHP dependencies fresh on each run, so two instances launched a week apart were not the same software. This image installs from the published version lock, and the source archive is verified by checksum before it is unpacked.
- A Recommended Port List That Is Actually Three Ports: 22, 80 and 443. The previous build`s firewall additionally permitted the server administration console on port 9090.
Use your own domain name with a free SSL certificate. One command requests a Let`s Encrypt certificate, renews it automatically, and redirects HTTP to HTTPS. It also updates the address your store records for itself, which is what appears in the links inside your order confirmation emails. This image does not include a mail server, so Bagisto sends through an SMTP provider that you configure.
This is a clean Bagisto with no sample products, so there is nothing to delete before you list real stock.

The software fee meters running time only. A fully stopped instance does not accrue software charges. Note that underlying AWS storage for a stopped instance may still incur separate AWS fees. The software charge resumes when you start the instance again.

Usage instructions
Connect to the instance over SSH as ec2-user and run the one-click installer. The full guide, including the AWS console steps, is at https://assist.elyxia.uk/docs/bagisto-2-x/one-click-installation/
The installer creates your database and administrator account and prints the sign-in email, the password and your admin panel address once, at the end. Write all three down before closing the terminal. They are generated for your instance and are not stored anywhere you can read them back.
Your shoppers see the storefront at http://YOUR-INSTANCE-PUBLIC-IP/ and you sign in at the admin address the summary gives you. That address is different on every instance, so the usual /admin will not work.
Change the administrator email address to your own under your account, because password resets go to whatever address is on the account.
To use your own domain name with a free SSL certificate, run: sudo /usr/local/bin/egl-setup-domain.sh.x
Before you take orders, set your outgoing mail provider and your payment and shipping methods under Configure. This image does not include a mail server, so no order confirmation reaches a customer until you do.
