Confidencial's Secure Document Exchange (SDX) combines strong security with intuitive usability. It integrates seamlessly into existing workflows, enabling efficient collection and sharing of privileged data with internal and external parties, regardless of file size or format.
SDX simplifies the exchange of sensitive information, including IP, PII, medical records, and financial data. Documents are never stored in our cloud, ensuring that control remains with the sender, both within and outside the organization. Access can be revoked at any time, and document interactions are fully tracked to support stronger security and oversight.
Confidencial's Secure Document Exchange (SDX) solution offers a comprehensive solution for organizations seeking to securely share sensitive information without compromising efficiency or compliance. Designed with a data-centric approach, SDX ensures that documents remain protected throughout their lifecycle, whether stored on-premises or in the cloud.
Key Features of Confidencial's SDX include: End-to-End Encryption: Documents are encrypted at the source and decrypted only by authorized recipients, ensuring that sensitive data remains confidential during transit and storage.
Data-Blind Architecture: Confidential does not store or access your documents. Instead, files are transferred directly to your existing infrastructure, maintaining control and compliance.
Granular Access Controls: Define who can view, edit, or share documents with precise permissions, thereby enhancing security and collaboration.
Audit Trails: Track all document interactions, including views, shares, and downloads, to provide transparency and support compliance efforts.
Seamless Integration: SDX seamlessly integrates with popular productivity tools and cloud storage solutions, such as Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and AWS S3, streamlining workflows without disrupting existing processes.
User-Friendly Experience: Recipients can access shared documents without needing to create accounts or remember passwords, thereby reducing friction and encouraging adoption.
Customizable Templates: Create and reuse templates for common document requests, such as contracts, financial statements, or medical records, saving time and ensuring consistency.
Persistent Share Links: Generate shareable links that allow for ongoing collaboration, with options to set expiration dates and control access levels.
Compliance Support: Confidencial's SDX helps organizations meet regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS, by providing robust security measures and detailed reporting capabilities.
Scalability: Whether handling a few documents or managing large-scale data exchanges, SDX scales to meet the needs of organizations of all sizes.
By leveraging Confidencial's SDX solution, organizations can confidently share sensitive information, knowing that robust security measures are in place to protect their data and maintain compliance with industry standards.

You choose one of three plans based on how many people need access to Secure Document Exchange (SDX). The plans cover up to 100, 500, or 1,000 users. Pricing scales by user count, so you pick the tier that fits your team size. Each plan bundles the same offering: implementation services plus SDX licensing for the chosen number of users. The tiers differ only in the user cap they include. You buy this under a contract, not by usage or hourly billing.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one user for billing under each SDX plan?
A user is an individual within your organization granted access to Secure Document Exchange. Each plan sets a cap on how many such users you can license: 100, 500, or 1,000. Recipients who receive files through the secure browser-based portal do not need accounts, so they are not counted as users.
What happens if my team grows past the user cap in my plan?
Each plan licenses a fixed number of users up to its cap. Growing beyond that cap means moving to a plan with a larger user count. This is a manual choice at purchase, not an automatic overage charge. Pick the tier that fits your expected team size.
Besides licensing, what is included in each SDX plan?
Each plan bundles implementation services with the license, so setup support is part of the purchase. All three plans cover the same Secure Document Exchange capabilities, including secure file sharing, activity tracking, and access controls. The plans differ only in the number of licensed users.
