Course details

Fundamental level:

  • AWS Graviton Processors Fundamentals (30 minutes): Learn the technical concepts and benefits of AWS Graviton processors, as well as adoption resources and support. You’ll also explore Graviton-based Amazon EC2 instances that address different workload needs, offering strong price-performance benefits and enhanced AI capabilities.

Intermediate level:

  • Migrating to AWS Graviton (2.5 hours): Learn to assess application compatibility with AWS Graviton, develop a comprehensive migration strategy, and utilize tools to evaluate migration readiness. You’ll gain insights into how both interpreted and compiled languages operate on Graviton, including their unique behaviors and optimization techniques. You’ll also explore the distinctions between native, cross, and emulated compilation strategies and learn how to apply them effectively. Lastly, you will understand and build multi-architecture container images, deploy them on AWS Graviton-based infrastructure, and optimize container workloads with AWS Graviton.
  • Optimization with AWS Graviton (40 minutes): Explore various scenarios where AWS Graviton can provide significant advantages and learn how to leverage performance metrics and baselining methodologies for optimization. Through practical examples and best practices, you’ll gain the ability to develop effective optimization strategies and navigate common implementation pitfalls with ease. Additionally, the course will guide you on optimizing .NET Core applications and Windows workloads on AWS Graviton.
