New courses and certification updates from AWS Training and Certification in August 2025

Welcome to August’s post announcing new training course launches and certification launches—helping equip you and your teams with the skills to work with AWS services and solutions. Missed our July course update? Check it out here.

This month, we launched nine new digital training products on AWS Skill Builder including localized versions of Exam Prep materials for AWS Certified AI Practitioner and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner as well as a major update to AWS Jam which allows Skill Builder Team Subscription users (not just Admins) the ability to create Jam events!

New AWS Skill Builder subscription features

AWS Skill Builder subscriptions are available globally and unlock enhanced AWS Certification exam prep and hands-on AWS Cloud training, including interactive learning and lab experiences like AWS Cloud Quest, AWS Industry Quest, AWS Builder Labs, and AWS Jam challenges. AWS Digital Classroom courses dive deep with expert instruction and are available with Individual annual subscription and Team subscription.

AWS Jam

We’re thrilled to announce Jam Event creation is no longer just for admins—it’s for all Skill Builder Team users! Ignite innovation, spark friendly competition, and watch your team’s cloud expertise soar to new heights—all at no extra cost. All active Skill Builder Team Subscription users can now easily schedule custom Jam events with up to 20 participants and 6 challenges at jam.aws.com.

AWS Certification exam preparation and updates

Certification

Additional languages for foundational certification exams now available
Candidates can now take the AWS Certified AI Practitioner exam in the following additional languages: Arabic, French, German, Italian, Spanish (Latin America), Spanish (Spain), and Traditional Chinese. In addition, the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam is now available in Arabic.

Get ready with AWS Skill Builder: The Exam Prep Plan: AWS Certified AI Practitioner and the Exam Prep Plan: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner are now available in the additional languages noted above.

The Exam Prep Plans include practice assessments with exam-style questions, hands-on practice through AWS SimuLearn or AWS Builder Labs, and lessons that review each exam domain and task statement.

AWS Classroom Training

AWS Classroom Training offers live classes with instructors who teach you in-demand cloud skills and best practices using a mix of presentations, discussion, and hands-on labs. Ask questions, work through solutions in person, and get feedback from AWS-accredited instructors with deep technical knowledge.

This month, we launched Agentic AI Foundations. This fundamental 1-day course explores the core principles and strategies for designing Agentic AI systems using AWS services. You’ll learn how Agentic AI differs from traditional conversational systems, and how to use tools like Amazon Q, Kiro, Amazon Bedrock Agents, and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to build autonomous, goal-driven solutions that solve real-world problems.
