AWS ยกเลิกค่าธรรมเนียมการถ่ายโอนข้อมูลระหว่างภูมิภาคสำหรับลูกค้าที่ย้ายจาก AWS Singapore region (ap-southeast-1) ไปยัง AWS Thailand region (ap-southeast-7)

ข่าวดีสำหรับลูกค้า AWS ในประเทศไทย ที่ต้องการ Migrate ย้าย workload จาก AWS Singapore region (ap-southeast-1) มายัง AWS Thailand region (ap-southeast-7) หรือ AWS Malaysia region (ap-southeast-5)

โดยAWS ยกเลิกค่าธรรมเนียมการถ่ายโอนข้อมูลระหว่างภูมิภาคสำหรับลูกค้าที่ย้ายจาก AWS Singapore region (ap-southeast-1) ไปยัง AWS Thailand region (ap-southeast-7) หรือ AWS Malaysia region (ap-southeast-5)

AWS จะเสนอเครดิตการถ่ายโอนข้อมูลฟรีในระยะเวลาจำกัดเพื่อมอบความช่วยเหลือในกระบวนการดังกล่าว

เริ่มตั้งแต่วันนี้ (9 เมษายน 2568) AWS จะยกเว้นค่าธรรมเนียมการถ่ายโอนข้อมูลระหว่างภูมิภาค (AWS Inter-Region Data Transfer หรือ DTIR) เมื่อลูกค้า AWS ย้ายข้อมูลหรือเวิร์กโหลด ไม่ว่าจะทั้งหมดหรือบางส่วน จาก Singapore region ไปยัง Thailand region

หากคุณเป็นลูกค้า AWS ที่สนใจย้ายข้อมูลจาก Singapore region ไปยัง Thailand region สามารถติดต่อ AWS Support หรือ ทีมงาน AWS ที่ดูแลคุณคุณเพื่อขอรับเครดิตชดเชยค่าการย้ายข้อมูล AWS DTIR ทั้งนี้ คุณไม่สามารถย้อนกลับมาใช้เครดิตกับการถ่ายโอนข้อมูลที่ดำเนินการไปแล้ว ดังนั้นการติดต่อ AWS ก่อนเริ่มย้ายข้อมูลจึงเป็นเรื่องสำคัญ (Estimate lead time ประมาณ 30 วัน) สามารถ download แบบฟอร์มจากทาง AWS Support ที่จะ provide มาครับ

คำขอทั้งหมดจะได้รับการตรวจสอบในระดับบัญชี AWS (AWS Account Level) เมื่อได้รับการอนุมัติแล้ว ระบบจะมอบเครดิตสำหรับข้อมูลที่กำลังย้าย โดยเครดิต DTIR เหล่านี้ใช้ได้กับการย้ายข้อมูลจาก AWS Singapore region ไปยัง AWS Thailand region เท่านั้น และจะไม่สามารถนำเครดิต DTIR ไปใช้กับการถ่ายโอนข้อมูลในทิศทางแบบย้อนกลับ เช่น จาก AWS Thailand region ไปยัง AWS Singapore region

For customers looking to migrate their workloads from the AWS Asia Pacific (Singapore) Region to the AWS Asia Pacific (Thailand) Region, AWS will offer free data transfer credits for a limited time to assist in the process.

Starting today, we’re waiving inter-region data transfer (DTIR) charges when AWS customers migrate data or workloads from the Singapore Region, fully or partially, to the Thailand Region.

If you are an AWS customer interested in migrating data from the Singapore Region to the Thailand Region, please contact AWS Support or your dedicated AWS account team to request credits to offset the AWS DTIR migration charges. Credits cannot be applied to data transfer usage retroactively, so it is important that you contact AWS prior to initiating your migration. This process needs to be done before migration (Expected process time around ~30 days and you can download form from AWS Support)

All requests will be reviewed at the AWS account level. Once approved, credits will be provided for the data being migrated. These DTIR credits only apply to data migration from the Singapore Region to the Thailand Region. The DTIR credits do not apply to data transfers in the reverse direction – from the Thailand Region to the Singapore Region.
