Overview
TotalEnergies Trading & Shipping buys and sells cargoes of oil and petroleum products all over the world, ensuring the supply of fuels and raw materials. Every day, its traders carry out transactions with its partners on the various energy marketplaces. These are fully electronic transactions that generate considerable volumes of unstructured data, which are sometimes difficult to reconcile within systems. With the support of Amazon Web Services (AWS), TotalEnergies T&S has implemented a system based on generative AI capable of matching structured and unstructured data within transaction flows. The result: improved operation traceability and much better input error detection.
Implementing this system has enabled us to considerably improve the reliability of our control operations, thus limiting our financial losses.
