Mercado Libre has improved time to market with AWS cloud services
Mercado Libre is the largest e-commerce ecosystem in Latin America, with more than 100 million unique active users. The company started 24 years ago as a monolithic system. As the business grew, the existing speed no longer met the company's demands, so in 2010, there was a transition to a microservices architecture. Even so, the speed offered with microservices made it clear there was a need to move to the cloud. Then, in 2015, the company began their migration to AWS.
