The online food delivery firm, which caters to food lovers Brazil, established the iFood Artificial Intelligence (AI) Academy in 2019 to accelerate innovation. Its internal teams gain machine learning skills through AWS Training and Certification, and use services such as Amazon SageMaker to improve delivery service-level agreements, bolster security, and elevate experiences for both customers and restaurants.

iFood Uses AWS Training to Expedite Internal Innovation

iFood knows its staff need access to both tools and training for the company to continue wowing customers with great experiences. As a result, the startup launched the iFood Artificial Intelligence Academy and worked with AWS Training and Certification to upskill internal teams across development, architecture, and security.


The structure provided by AWS allows us to train several models in machines sized for our needs and, more than that, to put these models into production in a simple way, without needing to start from scratch.
