Easy to use and I can find everything I need.

it takes All enterprise application backups of us, also we make monthly restores with Commvault workflow automation

Commvault support a huge range of hardware and software platforms for backup.
There is continual innovation of features, and expanding support for new systems.
The technical support team are very good

What do you dislike about the product?
The product can feel complex and prone to being particular and throwing errors. This is due to the large and far reaching nature and interactions with systems it is backing up.
The logs do contain all the information you need, but can equally be overwhelming and time consuming to fully understand - however that does promote a better understanding of the product and the systems you are backing up!

its easy in use we just need to install the agent in the server which we want to take backup of.

for cloud we have to integrate the VDCs one by one

we are taking file level backup as per customer requirement
we schedule backup policy as full backup or incremental backup as per customer need
we perform test cases time to time by restoring the server using the backup that had taken earlier

Recommendations to others considering the product:
its good for file level backup as we are facing issues in os level and application level but for file level its very easy to use just need to install Commvault agent on required server and we are ready to take backup.

What do you like best about the product?
Backup your VM's and O365. Also has a compliance search option for audits.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything that I dislike.

Backup and restores, has great support!

Commvault - The Comprehensive Backup Solution
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite features of Commvault is the reliability of backups and the reporting features. When you set up scheduled backups, you can rest comfortably knowing they'll complete. If there is a failure, you get near immediate notification of the failure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the GUI - it is a little hard to navigate until you really learn the ins and outs of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Commvault for all of our backup/restoration needs. We have realized how easy it is to quickly restore SQL Database backups in a pinch.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Setup separate Comcells that are offsite, and replicate to them for Disaster Recovery

What do you like best about the product?
The support team at Commvault is beyond amazing. I haven't met a problem that a collaborative effort with the team can't fix.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every feature ever asked for from the inception of the product is still within its administrative console and this can cause issues in use. It's a double-edged sword.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Remember that this is a very extensive solution to backups/data management. Approach with a good understanding that you don't know everything and keep the online books close. A lot less frustration will happen this way.

easy to use quick to set up and install for the business , user friendly and easy to use for restores

some times the updates can kill your set up of the back ups but can be fixed

we currently use it and has good benefits and support with 3rd party vendors

good to talk to them to find out what version or set up you need

this software is very good at both back AND restore. I have never had any trouble with backing up files or mailboxes and the restore process is very granular and intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
setup of a new device can sometimes be a little long and complex
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I keep the company files and emails safe with this product, if a server were to fail, I know that I have a good backup from which to restore it.

How quickly I can recover data for customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface is a little clunky, especially sorting through running jobs. but that's just how some software is. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SharePoint backups that exist outside of SQL backups.

Fantastic for SharePoint. Trust it.

Pricing and licensing options. Current licensing features do not take into consideration marginal additional backup needs.
