Powerful ABM Tool for Behavior Tracking and Orchestration
What do you like best about the product?
Sophisticated orchestration functionality that allows rule creation from multiple marketing stack tools' fields and variables.
What do you dislike about the product?
Location of traffic is not currently available, as it was in Demandbase Classic. Lack of permissions customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Behavior tracking of high intent accounts. Reducing manual taskwork via orchestration capabilities.
I could not effectively execute ABM without Demandbase

The platform is very easy to use and is backed by a world-class customer success team that will make sure you get the most out of the platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
Overall it's a great platform but there are a few dislikes I have.
Sometimes the platform runs very slow
Is more expensive than alternative solutions
Setting up the profiles can be tricky to get correct specifically the buyer's interests section
Can't run LinkedIn and GA Retargeting Through Platform As Alternative Solutions Allow. [Haven't Used The New DemandbaseONE Platform Yet So This May Change]

Recommendations to others considering the product:
You may want to save money by going with a competitor don't if this is your first foray into an ABM platform. Others may be less expensive but from direct experience are more difficult to use and you don't get the level of support Demandbase provides.

What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase team is very responsive at handling any issues that arise.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface of the application tends to run slow sometimes and is not the most intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use demandbase to run our ABM strategy and reach target accounts.
Super insightful data just waiting to be leveraged
What do you like best about the product?
Overall insights into what our top accounts are doing. We've been able to get out in front of objections and highlight additional features using Demandbase's intent data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial integration takes a bit of time if you don't have multiple people in the organization pushing to complete integration and adoption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem we're solving with Demandbase is account prioritization. With the platform, we've been able to zero in on high-value accounts and understand what they're looking for and what's most important to them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The platform is what your organization makes it. We've been able to identify some truly insightful nuggets of information that have helped us be more proactive and close deals.
Improved Insights
What do you like best about the product?
We are gaining actionable insights into our platform usage and potential new customers through the site analytics. We are looking forward to the new platform to begin to incorporate our known database with the anonymous. We have been able to add a few new logos over the past year by tieing together their site analytics and their engagement with the digital advertising.
What do you dislike about the product?
The audiences can be challenging to translate into usable data. The current database does not allow for much insights around the engagement from own known database in Marketo. However we are looking for everything that comes along with Demanbase one and enhanced engagement tracking capabilities. The conversion alerts are also not that useful since they are not easily updated as account lists change. We also struggle to find value as we are an orgranization with several different BU's with different product lines. We are looking for to the new conversion email capabilities in Demandbase One.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for net new customers, and we have been able to have a more target reach with the targeting platform for our digital media. We will changing our lead strategy once we move to the Demandbase One upgrade and plan to really focus on the engagement of the individual and the organization to improve our campaign targeting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Even if you currently do not have an ABM Strategy, the insights you can gain from using the platform and the integration with Salesforce will make your prospecting effort easier. When incorporating the conversion information with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, the amount of time research the right contact is reduced considerably.

1. I can market directly to the accounts I want, based on who is interested in what my product does.
2. I can customize our website for specific industries or company sizes, even for specific accounts.
3. We can advertise easily on top-quality websites and target these ads very specifically.
4. We can easily integrate with Marketo and Salesforce.
5. DB has excellent Customer Support.
6. We also used to use Engagio, and now that Demandbase acquired Engagio, we have all of the great functionality in one place.

Site customization is still working out some bugs, but it's worth it for the power it gives us to personalize the web pages.

1. We can prioritize our marketing/sales efforts to those accounts who are showing interest in our product (or what it does).
2. We can update our website for the industry, the account size, and the intent. Since so many different industries use our product, this is incredibly useful because each industry uses our product for various reasons.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see exactly which accounts are engaging with us online, and target our digital display advertising so it is as effective as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the tool can be a little clunky, but we've heard great things about the new version, which we should have access to very soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to maximize our ad spend with Demandbase in a way that just isn't possible with any other digital advertising platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure I understand all it can do - It's such a huge platform and I'm still learning more every day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a huge database and needed help segmenting it by our 5 different markets. Being able to advertise to those people by market and by journey stage has been huge! Plus, our inside sales team knows exactly how to prioritize their week by who has been most engaged.
Robust ABM Platform that Links Sales and Marketing
What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase (Demandbase One) allows you to view accounts and actiivity in a variety of ways and link those insights against marketing efforts and sales goals. Intent is the key word here, as by using Demandbase, you can see the relevance of the account at a given time -- what are they interested in, how far along are they in their buying journey, who else are they researching.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside of Demandbase One (comared to Demandbase Classic) is that it can be very complex, and knowing what to track, what criteria to set up, etc., can be complicated. It's essential that Sales drive much of the conversation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demandbase One is helping us gain much deeper insights and intent data into our targets, and is actually helping us determine who we consider a target. Using the Advertising component, we've been able to touch those specific targets and build ongoing engagement. It's really catching on as a sales enablement tool.
Great tool for info on accounts and contacts
What do you like best about the product?
Able to find a lot of companies and provides a good amount of information on relevant contacts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would always like more companies to be available, but provides a solid amount of larger companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Perfect for when a lead comes in and the contact is not a decision maker. Can then access many other high up contacts at the company to reach out to.
