Demandbase Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to see MQAS show up in the quickcards section. I also like being able to go into individual prospects to see how they've scored. I also like the graph showing what activity the account has over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there is a 12 hour sync time between Salesforce and Demandbase. That's very frustrating because I can't get back to prospects in real time.
Also, I don't like how you can't exclude some accounts in Demandbase for showing up for some people and not others. We have accounts where we would like them to show up for an AE (mid stage prospects) vs an SDR.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems We solve: Knowing what prospects engage with; scoring of how SDRs should prioritize accounts; scoring of how SDRs should prioritize individual people; I like that the accounts disappear from the quickcard after an SDR builds it out so I know what they are staying on top of
Demandbase New User
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, left hand navigation, table like interface in main section.
What do you dislike about the product?
Feel like I am still sifting through a lot of data to arrive at meaning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Account-based and persona-based marketing.
Account Executive
What do you like best about the product?
The weekly notifications and the engagement length
What do you dislike about the product?
It's VERY glitchy and 6 out of 10 times doesn't load or work. It isn't intuitive to run reports on your own accounts and lack of data at the contact level
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engagement of prospects with content, competitive intel and reaching out "why you why now"
Deep, broad product with excellent rep service and some practical limitations
What do you like best about the product?
The level of insight into what individuals and companies are doing - actions that you specify and that Demandbase then tracks - is really impressive. Also the customer service from our rep has been exemplary.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only problem is that tracking individual (as opposed to companies) requires that each individual engages with your company directly (leave a name and email, request further information, join a webinar, etc) before any behavior by that person can be tracked. Until the person does that, you'll only have company-level insight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're launching a new product and Demandbase is helping us find high-value customers to contact. So far Demandbase has helped us to pick those companies and, when used in conjunction with other tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, to triangulate who the individuals are we'd be most successful in contacting.
My SDR and Sales Teams love it!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that we can run lists and reports based on companies' existing tech stacks, keyword search and intent, and also locate companies that fit our Ideal Customer Profile that we had zero insight into previously. This intel has allowed me to laser focus on my DemandGen strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slack alerts for "persons lists". Reps want that the most.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying companies' existing tech stacks, keyword search and intent, and also locating companies that fit our Ideal Customer Profile that we had zero insight into previously. This intel has allowed me to laser focus on my DemandGen strategy. I am trying to solve the brand awareness issue for all those unaware yet fit our ICP. And I am also looking to solve is referring prospects to pertinent content based on their webpage visits.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
no
Easier deployment, less expensive to stand up
What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase is easier to implement than other ABM solutions like Marketo
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it offers customizable reporting, the setup & standardization of reports may require staff and time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Realtime alerting and interest of targeted companies for better marketing and higher conversion
Useful Tool for Tracking Key Accounts and Targets
What do you like best about the product?
The engagement data I find to be the most useful, often in my position I send out several prospecting emails with no responses. Understanding who is engaging with the emails is pertinent to know what is working and what isn't. Allows for better content in emails or feedback on included content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email snapshots often are too busy and difficult to decipher from a smartphone. Refining the formatting for emails would be an improvement in this area. Also sometimes emails show engagement when there hasn't been any.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving how to target the right individuals within an organization. Continuous feedback on who is opening my emails and what accounts should be targeted more than others.
Demandbase ABM/ABX
What do you like best about the product?
I like that for all of my assigned accounts, Demandbase gives me weekly updates of engagement in those accounts, helping me identify critical prospects engaged in my companies information.
What do you dislike about the product?
If a prospect is not in your CRM, for instance, Salesforce, there is no way to identify the opportunity to engage in your company's information. So that data is useless, and you cannot see anything but the title.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The critical problem that I'm solving in my organization is using Demandbase to organize from high engagement minutes to low activity and I work those from top to bottom.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider Demandbase when keeping up with engaged prospects.
Demandbase ABM
What do you like best about the product?
Detailed, shows what prospects and accounts have engaged with, shows for the most part what specific person engaged with what piece of ABM and gives a inroad to prospecting
What do you dislike about the product?
the time to notify, some accounts and MQA's are populating days after actual engagement and it does not necessarily fully reflect exactly what prospect was looking into
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems solved are account based marketing and prospecting, client and customer engagement, prospect marketing engagement. What i have realized is there could be some better integration directly into a platform such as Outreach and an easier way to integrate into Salesforce
Effective tool for finding old accounts that got lost in the shuffle
What do you like best about the product?
lots of options for reports and insight.
What do you dislike about the product?
it's a lot of information all at once so sometimes it can be hard to navigate where exactly you need to be looking for different things
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're finding more leads that were lost and that is leading to some opportunities that likely wouldn't have been there
