Excellent Targeting Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Once integrated with our Salesforce and Marketo instances, ABX cloud makes it easy to target specific audiences and accounts based on intent data, journey stages, plus many more options.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform can be slow to load at times although we do have a high number of accounts in our SFDC instance. I believe they are upgrading servers soon which should improve load times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to target accounts with display ads and get meaningful insights such as velocity between journey stages. We are also able to push dynamic account lists to LinkedIn Ads and Facebook Ads.
Great Resource for Prospects Showing and Tailored Messaging
What do you like best about the product?
How it shows the companies and contacts engagement and what they are researching. It is hard to uncover that info and Demandbase makes it much easier and helps to streamline who you should reachingout to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any tool, it takes some time to learn. There are many ways to use Demandbase but once you get the hang of it, the UI is easy to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to find the decision-makers and who is doing the research within a certain company. I am able to tailor my messaging from the content they are researching and it has paid off with more responses.
Demandbase for ABM
What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase has all of the features you would want from an ABM platform and makes it relatively simple to take action in the platform and see improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little guidance offered from Demandbase around best practices.
They set up our instance incorrectly initially, and we were missing data for several months without realizing.
You cannot see much detail at the campaign-level.
Deamndbase is very opaque about their scoring models, and there is no way to see if changes you make to the model are helping or hurting.
Zero information about common customer journeys.
Bare bones set up is for new business, you need to do your own research for how you'd use this for expansion plays.

Implementing an ABM strategy as a cultural-shift in our GTM strategy.
We've seen sellers use the product, albeit at a very high level like accounts with pricing page visits.
We've barely seen marketers use it because we do not have an integrated ABM strategy touching all channels, and the ad team that used it didn't see value although may have been due to lack of enablement resources.

Demandbase ABM Platform - Ideal for Hunter Sales Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Provides insights on existing accounts in SFDC as well as outside accounts. Insights can be used to help target meaning messaging and advertising to accounts, AND helps to prioritize what key accounts to focus on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is very comprehensive and thus the interface can be overwhelming initially to many users. But, once set up to make the most meaningful information easier to access and with some hands-on training, the wealth of information is well worth it,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping to target accounts that are more likely interested in our offerings based on intent signals. Advertising platform helps to target these accounts. Dashboards help internal teams gain insights on their target accounts.
Good ABM Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Integrates into our other advertising platforms so are able to implement a cross-platform strategy that utilizes the valuable data that Demandbase is collecting for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
It loads really slowly and the reports/dashboards can be a little frustrating to manipulate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using a Surround strategy to bring Accounts into and down the funnel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is probably good enough for your ABM needs unless they are extremely sophisticated, which this can probably handle too.
My go to tool for focusing my sales day
What do you like best about the product?
I like that DB delivers engagement reports into my email inbox each morning. The reports are provided with a link where users can gain additional insight into buying intent in target accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires a small learning curve to understand and make use of Demandbase's filtering options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm always looking for a way to prioritize my time and prospecting efforts. Demandbase takes a lot of the guess work out of understanding who is interested now and where a small sales team like mine should be spending the precious prospecting hours.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My recommendation is to take the training and make Demandbase part of your morning routine for your sellers.

What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase is a great ABM tool for targeting 1:1, or 1:many accounts. The Demandbase team is always open to answering questions and providing walk throughs on how the platform works.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of different functionalities within the platform that takes time to get accustomed to but this can be resolved with training. Frequently however the platform is slow to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently targeting Account-Based Marketing to penetrate and grow target accounts and better understand where they are searching/what they are looking for. The benefits are yet to be viewed as we are in the pilot stages.
Data-driven insights for sales
What do you like best about the product?
The real-time data insights regarding my targeted accounts are incredibly helpful. I'm able to make a tailored outreach plan based on the intent prospects are showing and share that with others on my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Demandbase hasn't been the most responsive/fast interface. I think generally it works fairly well, but oftentimes can be prone to glitches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm utilizing demandbase to make smarter decisions in my prospecting plan. I collaborate with my BDR in our weekly 1:1's to determine which accounts to target for our plan of attack.

The organization of information within the platform can be confusing or hard to find. Have lots of self-guided training but never have time to take it all.

Account-based activities and engagement with our brand. Helps us refine our targeting and provide insights to sales.
Great tool for quick and simple page customization
What do you like best about the product?
Really like how easy it is to simply change the content of any HTML element to a customized value using the UI where you can see your web page, and hover over elements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though it's simple to customize values, it is mostly limited to text customization. For a more complex page where you want to customize dynamic/interactive elements (with JS), it most likely won't work out-of-the-box since the customization is a script itself, and Demandbase doesn't provide a JS API. You might end up having to write your own API to interface with Demandbase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customizing pages based on the visitor, customizing content for the account/company the visitor belongs to and getting more engagement out of their visit wihtout having to create bespoke landing pages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a quick way to customize a web page with some text pulled from your user's accounts, Demandbase is great.
