Demandbase ABM is transformational
What do you like best about the product?
DemandBase ABM integration with SalesForce is very powerful tool. It really changes how sales look at accounts and opportunities in the pipeline. We selected DemandBase against the competition because of the strong database that the tool offers and the excelent customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion, the only thing missing right now is the possibility to upload contacts lists from third party vendors (i.e. ZoomInfo). I also believe that the marketing dashboard can be improved to offer predefined reports and/or data sets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demandbase ABM is helping us being more strategic about our marketing initiatives and track marketing contributions to our overall sales revenue. Our marketing team has moved away for being an events marketing team to become a strategic partner for our sales team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have the other marketing tools (CRM, MAS, DAM, etc) set up and the data organized, so the integration with Demandbase would be easier.

What do you like best about the product?
Having visibility into my prospect accounts & current pipeline. Who's clicking our website assets and how much time they are spending allows for very targeted ourtreach.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much so far, some of the UI is clunky on the dashboards but still early into using the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping build pipeline.

Still early on in implementing, not a whole ton of advice.
Powerful Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase helps our team to prioritize accounts and people in a way that we couldn't do it before. With the solution we created high engament cadences and we are seeing better effiency on the top of the funnel by using these resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main point here is to onboard the team on the platform, it looks a bit confusing in complex for reps in the beggining. Sometimes I feel that we are not using all the features available to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Leads and companies journey and engament with our company was a big gap here, now we have this visualization and can define stratigies to increase engament and to focus on closing.
Very Insightful Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase is great at providing me with tailored insights. I love the weekly emails showing the exact type of organizations I am interested in. As a Sales Professional, it is super helpful to see the activity with organizations within my territory.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Demandbase is not the most user-friendly to jump between organizations or reports. I know a lot of data needs to load to make that happen but sometimes there's a lot of waiting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Sales Professional, Demandbase is helping me find organizations that are already remotely interested so it helps make my outreach that much more strategic.

Makes Prospecting Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Provides useful insights into what people and what companies I should be targeting. Recently engaged people and likelihood to turn into pipeline are the best tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like an easier interface to see which people are interested when a company is labeled as high intent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Oftentimes in sales development you think you've hit a dead end, like writers block. You open up demandbase, however, and it gives you insights you may have not looked for before.
Great tool for Insight on your Prospects/Accounts
What do you like best about the product?
There are a few things I like with DB. First, we can get insight and possible purchase trends with certain accounts/prospects that we are targeting or not targeting. Second, we can see the customer's journey and what content they used to map what they saw previous to purchase.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if it had even more accurate data for example the actual contact info from the person who is diving into our website. I know this data is difficult to get but if there was a way they could it would be the next level of a sales tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What DB is helping with on our ABM strategy is to see which accounts have a general interest in purchasing our SW, we can see what assets or pages they are looking at on our website. It helps us narrow our target accounts when conducting our cold outbound strategies.

i like how it shows you which customer look at our website the most. The dashboard is very user friendly

i wish it showed how long they were on the website.

Platform that delivers
What do you like best about the product?
The prebuilt dashboards are easy to use and easily filterable. I could focus my time and making sure my connections were set up and thinking about strategy instead of having to worry about how I was going to find the data I would need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very small but I'd love to be able to customize the platform to our brand colors so it was easier to pull data directly out of the platform into a report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Targeting to our top accounts and focusing on our brand depth within each of those accounts, this is a huge motion for our sales organization. Without the support of DemandBase it would be a lot harder to prove our efforts were reaching the accounts we needed to.
Demandbase can fit the needs of many GTM strategies
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability for us to be able to configure as much as possible custom, as well as having a good library of default reports, lists and dashboards that act as a launchpad for future enhancements and optimizations. The support team at Demandbase is also extremely helpful and get back to you sometimes right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the most part, using this platform is pretty pain-free. There are very few instances where I'm disappointed with something on the platform, and usually, the root cause is my own user error. For example, there are some steps that are not crystal clear when learning the platform that would lower the learning curve tremendously and help you master the platform more quickly if it was more clear how to get to where you wanted to go, rather than by trial and error.

Centralizing swaths of data in one place from multiple platforms has helped us unify strategies and teams for success.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a designated POC for Demandbase issues and use an API user for all of your integrations, or someone's credentials expiring can cause the whole system to fall out of sync.
