My go-to tool for doing ABM the right way
What do you like best about the product?
I like the most the fact that Demandbase are taking into consideration both the marketing team's need to drive users down their funnel, but also align the needs with the sales team's needs regarding getting the right information, tailor their sales pitch to the leads, and nurture them so they will be ready for their next step. Their tool can help with segmenting the right accounts/persons, using all data possible and allow us as marketers the ability to match laser-focused marketing messages especially for those segments to catch the leads that qualified for our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing negative I can think of, TBH. Their support is super quick with responding whenever we need them. Their account executives are amazing with the way they treat us. Their documentation is thorough and detailed and they allow you the best training possible to master this tool and its capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First and foremost - using cross-platform digital marketing campaigns that are laser-focused for our ICPs in multiple segments, multiple products and multiple use cases. Leveraging their ability to provide account and person-based data to understand what accounts are engaging the most with our campaigns, and leveraging their intent data - we're able to align our efforts with the sales team's efforts and find the right touchpoints to outreach them with the right message on our assets. It solves the challenges of aligning sales and marketing in the digital world.
The team at Demandbase has been nothing short of exceptional.
What do you like best about the product?
Ongoing support! Whether it's a technical concern (usually user-related) or advice on a campaign/strategy, the Demandbase team is always available to hop on a call.
The community is another great asset!
The community is another great asset!
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest "dislike" is the lack of HubSpot integration but the good people at Demandbase have clearly been listening because it looks like this integration is just around the corner!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brand awareness is and has been an issue for us. No one likes receiving or placing a cold call. Generating exposure and experience throughout the sales journey has made our prospects more receptive to receiving our calls and is playing a major role in eliminating the "Who did you say you were again" objection.
Easy-to-use and intuitive but extremely powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase is extremely user-friendly. I love how easy it is to use (think drag and drop, selectors, smooth flows, etc.) and the fun designs (colors, avatars, and more). The customer success team has also been top-notch. I find them trustworthy, quick to respond, knowledge, and very accommodating.
What do you dislike about the product?
They just rolled out a big product update, but there seemed to be a few bugs that came with it. The customer success team has been all over it and extremely helpful, but it did affect our daily reporting and general workflow for a few days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We love the intent data, and it has enabled better GTM planning. I've previously worked in companies where everyone was confused by intent (what it meant, how to use it, etc.) but Demandbase displays and reports on intent in a very user-friendly and easy-to-understand way. This has helped marketing and sales collaborate better in reaching those important high-intent accounts.
How to build and implement a powerful ABX strategy
What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase is a game changer in the way we do marketing, how we can understand engagement at the account level and how we can impact the buyer's journey.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform offers a wide range of possibilities, which may be a bit overwhelming. But with time, you'll see the full value!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demandbase ABM/ABX Cloud is solving many challenges, one of them being the actual alignment between several teams, Sales and Marketing for sure, but also the Customer Success Team.
Demandbase is ok. Not for mac users
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it shows activity and who to reach out too
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not always show who exactly is looking at your organization. It also does not pop up on google chrome for mac
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it is solving transparency and i can reach out to warm leads
ABM B2B Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Account intelligence, intent signals, advertising publishing network
What do you dislike about the product?
Not I would say dislike, but on my wishlist is the integration with HubSpot
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaching out in a non intrusive way to my prospective customers and equipping the team with ammunition of account information
Demandbase is the ABM/ABX partner you have been looking for!
What do you like best about the product?
I have implemented and used Demandbase in multiple organizations. I have also used their competitors for several years. I can tell you without a shred of doubt that Demandbase is an amazing company and their product has been impactful to our GTM organization. I have been impressed with their DSP capabilities, our advertising has never been better. Compared to competitors that use a third party B2C, Demandbase has a proprietary B2B DSP that is highly effective. Their interface is intuitive and easier for marketers and sellers to understand. The quality of their intent data is solid and I have used it to power entire Outbound motions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Had you asked me this question a few weeks ago I would of told you that on occasion I have experienced system latency issues. It would take a while to load key elements. They recently deployed a fix for this and it has been solid ever since. No complaints!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business intelligence on key accounts. Demandbase gives us the information we need to know exactly where our target accounts are in the buying cycle. Our sellers are empowered with this information can go into their meetings informed and able to speak to exactly what the account is needing in that moment.
Demandbase - can be good for research, but you can get more from a basic internet search.
What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase is an average/good starting point for researching organisations, to get an idea of their structure and people. But it is just that, a starting point.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of the time the data on there isn't up to date or accurate. Cross-referencing against LinkedIn and even a simple Google search a lot of the time reveals people no longer at the business, from many months to years ago. I understand people don't even update LinkedIn, but its a LOT better for information and email addresses.
The software and systems that are stated on there are very much useless and seem to be copy/pasted from each other, essentially saying the organisation uses pretty much every piece of software available.
Financial data is vague, and much more detail from a basic search is available.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Really at the moment, it is well down my list of tools to use to research a company as I can get a lot better data from a simple Google search and looking at a company website or annual report.
Demandbase powers our ABX journey
What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase provides unified visibility to what is going on in accounts and helps shape the content and conversations we have with them. They provide the ability to orchestrate and drive engagement across many channels and connect it to a personalized experience on our digital properties. Demandbase provides a data-centric conversation so we can look at what is happening in accounts, what is working and not just rely on hunches and guesses around which accounts are engaging with us, might be active in market etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to see Demandbase continue to expand global capabilities to identify location of intent signals, support non-English language etc and to expand advertising targeting capabilities at the persona level to tailor specific ads by role for known and new contacts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demandbase has provided a level of visibility we didn't have before to truly understand what account are engaging and how we are succeeding with our ABX efforts and gives us one platform for all teams to work in so we are acting more cohesively.
Demandbase is a great tool.
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is an excellent resource for our contact-based marketing approach. It demonstrates how our leads interacted in a manner that would not have been feasible otherwise. I'm thrilled that I can utilize it and its compatibility with Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quantity of information we get might be challenging to process. In addition, I believe the advertising platform has substantial development potential. I'd want to see stuff like an advanced target.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before the SDRs arrive, we must send advertisements to specific groups of organizations in various industries. We've been able to demonstrate where agreements originated.
