A very smart and effective tool

What do you like best about the product?
There are great insights available from the data that is provided.
Easy to use format once you are trained.
A very proactive support team at Demandbase that cater to your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a steep learning curve to the tool and it can be overwhelming when learning the tool.
The intent data is only available in English and not in other languages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demandbase helps us capture leads via our own website. We are able to deanonymize the web traffic and can better cater to existing customers. as well as find new customers.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using DB for the past 5 years. We use the platform to segment our audiences per intent and build laser focused campaigns to serve our ICP.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was not easy to inegrate DB to Marketo, but mainly on our side
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Segmenting ABM audiences, discovering intertnal and external intent of our TAL, running dedicated campaigns to our ICPs

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best:

The account identification capabilities - Demandbase makes it really easy to see all the companies visiting my site and build targeted account lists.
The integration with Salesforce - Having the Demandbase account data flow right into Salesforce gives my team full visibility.
Automated account-based ads - I can instantly retarget key accounts with customized messaging at scale.
The reporting - I get clear insight into the accounts engaging with our campaigns and content. Makes optimizing easy.
Predictive intelligence - Seeing the revenue potential scores helps me focus on the accounts that matter most.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike:

Occasional issues with tracking contacts on our site - It doesn't always pick up every visitor, although support has helped troubleshoot.
Limitations on the number of ad integrations - I'd like to see more platforms supported for account-based ads.
Missing some features of the standalone Demandbase platform - As a legacy customer it's been an adjustment losing a couple functionality pieces with the switch to One.
Trouble customizing dashboards - Building dashboard views tailored to different teams' needs isn't very intuitive.
Lack of support for personalization in email campaigns - I'd like more ability to customize emails based on account data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Here are a few ways Demandbase One is solving problems and providing benefit:

Identifying our best accounts - The account profiling and ideal customer profile matching in Demandbase makes it easy to see which companies we should be targeting based on attributes like industry, tech stack, and revenue. This filters out a lot of noise so we can focus our efforts.
Understanding buyers - Seeing who our website visitors are and what content they are viewing gives us insight into where individuals are in the buying process. We can deliver personalized messaging as a result.
Coordinating sales and marketing - With Demandbase integrated into Salesforce, sales and marketing are aligned on which accounts to engage. No more debating list quality.
Prioritizing accounts - The predictive scoring shows which accounts have the most sales potential so we can double down on those for the best ROI.
Simplifying ABM - Demandbase One brings together the account data, advertising, and analytics into one streamlined platform. It's a true one-stop-shop for orchestrating ABM which makes things much easier.
Overall, Demandbase One enhances that accuracy and efficiency of our ABM strategy. I don't know how we functioned before having the full account vision it provides!

What do you like best about the product?
Demandbase has given us better control of our marketing efforts, and it has enabled us to be much more strategic in our planning and execution.

Our marketing planning is more strategic and we can make better decisions on an ongoing basis because we have better visibility at account level and can see activity at the segment level, and we can measure and monitor performance within and across segments.

The ability to evaluate where accounts are in buyers journey has enabled us to target our marketing to that journey stage, something we weren't able to do before.

We're able to reach anonymous stakeholders that are involved in buying decisions, giving us more broad and deep reach into buying groups.

Demandbase has given us far better data from which we can more confidently make decisions. And it has enabled even greater alignment between sales and marketing. While we already work very closely with our sales leadership and our sales teams, the addition to Demandbase has given us a common framework against which we have both strategic and tactical conversations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Demandbase One is a robust platform with a wide range of functionality and it is highly customizable. In the long run, this is highly desirable, but it requires a long ramp time, particularly for a lean team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quite simply, Demandbase One is enabling us to take our marketing from individual, lead-based to a more expansive, account-based level. That seems like a fairly obvious thing to say, but for B2B marketer who have adopted ABM strategically but have not had the tools to plan and execute at the account level, it's a game-changer.

The insight the tool provides to intent based on keywords as well as activities our accounts are doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is slower than I would like it to be.

What do you like best about the product?
Three things:
1) ABM made easy using demandbase because of it's 3rd party database
2) keyword intent is super helpful in targeting
3) Sales intelligence feature is great
What do you dislike about the product?
1) Accuracy- feels like only 30% data is accurate
2) Unexplored tool- many new changes comes up on the go
3) sometimes queries are unresolved as even the expert encounter error for 1st time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Standardizing the tool it's an ongoing process now reports are inline with expectation

Using Demandbase One for Marketing Campaigns and Orchestrations

What do you like best about the product?
The easy-to-use interface, the platform's insights into engagement minutes, intent data, and so forth is really great. I like how Demandbase gives us a daily snapshot into our account's activity each morning, and automates processes (such as advertising campaigns or orchestrations) that would otherwise be time consuming, so we can focus our attention elsewhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
My one gripe with Demandbase is that it does not give you contact-level data or insights, which is typically the case with these types of platforms. It won't let us get as granular as we originally hoped, but we are definitely finding work arounds for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demandbase is helping us to identify targets/suspects/leads earlier in the process by identifying their acitvities and scoring them appropriately - by refining our scoring model with Demandbase, we're able to generate more qualified leads for sales.

What do you like best about the product?
The most useful two features are web insights and the keyword intent. Using the two functionalities in conjunction gives you so much leverage and great talk tracks for cold calling. If gives you topic points to focus on in your emails and calls in hopes of garnering a meaningful interaction with your potential prospect.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is still chunky and lacking. It would be great to click a button to easily navigate back to 'My Accounts' dashboard. It's more of a nuisance and you can learn to navigate around it, but I wouldn't consider it intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demandbase is bridging the gap between sales plays and account-based prospecting. It allows you to see intent, website engagement, and keyword searches for a multi-prong sales/marketing campaign to create warmth. It gives you the ability to "see" what the account is interested in so that you can create emails and talk tracks to be better prepared when you do make contact with a potential prospect.

provides a snapshot and easy to use format of prospects to go after

can use across multiple industries and hundreds of accounts

Dislike - I cant really think of one as have used
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
helping me find the best customers to prospect- use the best keywords which have been searched to amend and make my propsecting better
I would say business performance has increased as using the top personas has led to meetings

The speed was fast. it can handle rapid growth.

there really no downsides. Sometimes the PDF got stuck, but it was not a problem

the rapid growth in the company to handle the load of the database.the system is fast and easy to use for the team. the applications are also easy to use in the database.
