Unreliable platform -- no support- difficult to get refunds
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of alternatives to Udemy (e.g. Coursera, LinkedIn, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
1) Platform freezes, preventing one viewing a course. The billing does not freeze;
2) Request << refund >> and they give you "Udemy credit" -- for a platform that does not work. It's downright misleading terminology. You have to file a dispute with your credit card company;
3) No support -- find a number on their site? Find an email address for support? Find a person who you can talk to? I had to use bizdev@udemy.com to request a refund -- and not a credit;

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Graphic design. The platform froze in lesson 3 so I have realized no benefits (but they wasted my time).

good platform
What do you like best about the product?
wide range of topics and alot of classes. You can find almost any topic to the level of expertise you need which was very important to me. Also, theory and practical exampled were intertwined which is crucial for learning.
What do you dislike about the product?
some of the teachers are not really experts. You have to really wet the class you're choosing to spend your time on bc it might not be worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm learning web development and node-good theory learning here for something you only get from actual books and not code examples.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
great platform, but not better than Coursera at this point. Having both would be even better.

The price of the course is so low that makes me happy that education is so access full by the internet

The problem of cheap high-quality video content for newbies in the JavaScript world. Yes, YES! Hight quality cheap content exists

Log in add some courses to wishlist and wait for the bargain price.

What do you like best about the product?
The wide range of topics that are taught is something I really like. Even if a course Is not available in other online learning platforms, it can be seen in Udemy. Also the number of instructors for each topic enables us to choose the right one for our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the pricing is a bit high at times unless there is a sale. Also some of the courses are not very comprehensive or requires better auditing for quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have learnt Oracle SQL, Statistics, Python and Case consulting interview prep from Udemy. As a data professional, I leverage it to keep myself up to date with all my learning needs.

Please check the course content and listen to few video lectures for the course before purchasing.

What do you like best about the product?
What I find most valuable about Udemy for Business is the ability to have on demand courses, variety of subjects offered, liaise with the clients and check which courses are most beneficial for various employees to improve their skills in prerequisite subjects. Also enjoy the flexibility and having specialized solutions for various teams and needs. The instructors they feature are introduced before commencing on their page which is a bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many of the specific help options featured on Udemy for Business are rather limited. Would like to hopefully see more in person help in the software rather than a virtual automated assistant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am helping the team solve using the Business Content Collection the a la carte course collection finding what's most benefical for each team member to work with them on an individual basis so they can focus on the individual courses they want without having to pay for a subscription model

I recommend asking your business or organisation whether they prefer a subscription or individual course model to acheive their objectives. If you are looking for targeted indivudual courses, I recommend Udemy for business.

I have used Udemy to train employees in various aspects of the business. The variety of courses offered by the website have benefitted my employees to retain and reevaluate their skill sets.

There is nothing about Udemy that I don't like, it is a great educational platform that only contributes to our academic and professional growth.

Udemy has helped me in several areas of my life, when I met Udemy I did it because I was looking for additional training in a subject that I was doing badly in college, I signed up for a course that seemed super complete and helped me not only pass the subject, but to understand it. Then I started to explore the courses and I saw that there were different courses to train me in my area of expertise, so I decided to sign up and little by little I learn a little more every day, I am currently in what I like and that is the greatest thing that has happened in my life because I am really passionate about it.

I would sincerely recommend Udemy because it is the best online academy that you can find in all the internet, you can train in almost anything you can imagine and you have to recognize that it is one of the academies that offers more accessible costs for its courses and you will always be able to find the alternative of paying the course by means of a discount coupon.
