What do you like best about the product?
I like the variety of courses and the flexibility it gives employees to learn at their own pace. It's great for supporting employee learning and development, offering a wide range of courses for technical skills, professional development, and leadership training. The platform setup was fairly straightforward, and I found it easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting and administrative tools could be more flexible and easier to customize. I'd like more customizable reports and dashboards with easier filtering by employee, department, course, and completion status.

What do you like best about the product?
It has some of the best courses and great prices. The catalog is strong and feels well curated, with many high-quality options. You can browse courses across different areas, whether they’re software- or business-related. Overall, most of the courses can help you advance in your career.

There are some courses that aren’t available in the business catalog, and it can be difficult to get them added. Because of that, you might end up missing courses that are relevant to you.
Also, some courses sound really great on paper and have good reviews, but they’re not always worth your time. You need to be selective about which courses you take.

What do you like best about the product?
The thing that stands out most is the breadth-plus-currency combination. Because the catalog is built from a huge marketplace of independent instructors, tooling and platform topics show up there faster than in traditionally authored corporate libraries, where a course has to be commissioned, scripted, and produced. If someone needs a working introduction to a tool that shipped eighteen months ago, Udemy usually has something, and often several options at different depths.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest problem, from an instructional design standpoint, is that the marketplace model optimizes for the wrong signal. Instructor revenue tracks enrollments and ratings, and ratings correlate with production polish and likability far more than with learning gains. So you get a catalog where the popular courses are often the pleasant ones, not the effective ones. Nothing in the incentive structure rewards an instructor for building hard retrieval practice or honest assessment, because those make learners feel worse in the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The core problem it solves is speed-to-availability. Building a course internally takes weeks of SME time, storyboarding, development, and review. Buying a library collapses that to a purchase decision. For topics that aren't proprietary, where nothing about the content is specific to your organization, custom development is hard to justify. Udemy Business absorbs that entire category.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the variety of courses that Udemy Business offers, as it meets everybody's needs or wants. It's helpful that everyone can go to the same site to track what they're doing. I also appreciate that it allows people to select courses based on their team's needs, whether for professional development or technical skills like those related to Microsoft. The website's easy navigation is another plus, as it reduces stress for our employees, making it simpler for them to find what they need.

I like that Udemy Business is engaging; employees don't find it boring and aren't yawning during the training courses, which is a major plus. I also appreciate the various training styles, with in-course labs and project-based workshops being the best, honestly. The initial setup of Udemy Business is highly straightforward and efficient, making it a smooth transition for our team.

The deep academic and enterprise academies on Udemy Business feel a bit limited compared to other platforms. With Coursera and EdX, I can get high-level academic credentials, which aren't available on Udemy.
