An Extremely Customizable CRM
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about SugarCRM is the fact that you can tailor it to your business. My company has many different types of verticals and many different personas, being able to capture information for each of them is important to us. Being able to have multiple tabs for each person with custom fields is the best!
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most is their lack of through documentation, a lot of my learning of the software was trial and error. I also feel like their reporting module is still weak and automation for Professionals does not exist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to be able to retain the sales history for prospects and customers in a way that is easy to review and digest. Sugar allows me to capture all of that data and organizes it well. The benefits of having all of this data in one platform has been useful for our other departments.
SugarCRM good but not great yet
What do you like best about the product?
The mobile app is the highlight of SugarCRM. The contact and account search for a large database works great. The ability for easy adding of a customer and information on mobile or desktop is powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The CRM has been built to open and they need to focus on making the common actions easier to do. The dashboard is limited, needs a better reporting dashboard. Email campaigns and templates have not been updated in years. Need a default follow-up with a custom button and maps built into the mobile app and reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing our direct customer and customer influencer in one large database. Having a single database to do all sales and marketing activities helps us stay focused on what areas bring us the most value.
SMB First CRM - Sugar Did the Trick
What do you like best about the product?
Sugar Sell was easy to imple.ment and fairly intuitive to use. Our CRM inexperienced team took to Sugar Sell very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a CRM, so in order to be effective, requires that you use it. As with all CRMs, the challenge is getting team members to update. Sugar is not automatic, so does require effort on the part of the user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sugar Sell to track opportunities and leads. It helps us focus on the right opportunities and lead so our team is being as effective as possible.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great option for SMB. Can't speak to larger orgs, but 200 employee, $75 org is a great fit.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is a tool that helps us solve everyday problems and makes our work time more productive and efficient. You can manage it as sales opportunities, consult your schedule, calls, appointments, and take notes during site or client visits. If you want to have a photographic record, that can be done too. It improves internal work organization and makes the assignment of responsibilities more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit confusing to create very elaborate reports like a matrix, in the case of wanting to generate a report, for example, of a campaign from prospecting potential clients to how many were converted by contact and the opportunities generated. In simple list reports, it is easier since there you only generate lists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
control of project contacts, there is no way to forget that a call was made. efficiency in internal work since the assignment of tasks makes the responsibility of users visible, you forget about Excel databases and wanting to update them at the same time by several people, the ability to generate reports with a single click for our monthly sales reports, and measuring the sales funnel month by month and by user, the control of campaigns carried out in the company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Analyze well the needs that the company has in order to transmit them to the CRM.

I like the flexibility and ease of being able to stand up the out of the box sales tools.

I love the very bodies of sugar and how many acts I can take in it. It also functions for several departments; accounting, marketing, administration, customer events, client services, office manager, etc

The software uses a lot of memory when producing reports and speeds the down the system and even sometimes crashes the program

In terms of usability and efficiency, SugarCRM is ideally suited to our company. It has a customer-friendly mobile app that gives us maximum versatility on the desk or in the field

I will really suggest selling sugar because it's a powerful and efficient tool that helps identify purchases and leads. This helps us to configure the tool according to our needs

It is a CRM that has covered the needs we had in the company. It is an easy to use and manage CRM.

The price, although not the most expensive CRM, is a large investment that sometimes makes investors nervous.

We are still in the Business version, but soon, we will upgrade to the Sugar Sell version in order to use SugarBPM and define our own business flows

Getting started in a giffy with a full fledge CRM has not been so easy, Sugar changed that experience by making it is quick and easy to explore the functionalities at a attractive price.
Plus, the module concept in Sugar makes it flexible to configure features quickly.

Turn around time for new feature implementation from Sugar has to be improved.
