HubSpot is perfect for start ups who want 90% of Salesforce functionality at 25% the cost
What do you like best about the product?
It's intuitive to use and the amount of resources online to help learn and understand functionalities is fantastic. Excellent customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is geared a little more towards consumer; but the B2B limitations aren't a deal breaker. We need better reporting functionalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're managing our accounts and keeping account continuity when sales managers come and go. We're tracking and reporting our revenue forecasting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're limited on budget, this is the software to use. If you have unlimited budget, then SalesForce has more bells/whistles--but it's also got a reputation for having too much, being overly complicated and not user friendly or intuitive.
Easy to use, intuitive and the support is very responsive
What do you like best about the product?
Constant improvement. Since we started using HubSpot 2 1/2 years ago, it has been improved with richer content and integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Better tools/templates to develop quotes and proposals. I feel like this is just beginning to be developed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better customer relationship, it's like having an automated admin assistant.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I tried other CRM's on a trial, ZOHO, for example. but found HubSpot to be easier to use
Best CRM UI Possibly Ever...
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface for Hubspot CRM makes our team actually want to use the tool. Everything is easy to use, easy to understand the reporting system and dashboards make our data tangible and accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Don't have any major dislikes quite yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting issues, and data input. Organized data management

What do you like best about the product?
I like the design of the UI, the tools are all so easy to use, you can have a landing page set up in 2 seconds. There is an ample selection of templates for everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
It`'s difficult to recreate the company's process completely with the tool, operationally it is very limited. Reporting is basically useless for our sales department and the campaigns never really display accurate results. Dependent fields for internal use are a must. Lead flows and forms are very restrictive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our sales department is very lazy and does not like to fill out the information properly. Via the workflows I have been able to obtain the insights the marketing department needs, without having to rely on them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The company's processes have to be standardized and everyone in the team must work exactly the same. HubSpot will only work if everyone enters information correctly and is capable of adapting to a single process.
Great product for inbound marketing and analytics!
What do you like best about the product?
Adding a blog to our website has generated so much traffic to our site! And the Deals section has really helped our Admissions team see quickly where they are in each stage of the admissions process. What i like best though, is the customer support and training. They're quick, responsive and very helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more opportunities for customization within the different modules. We are a private school, so for our email purposes, it would be nice to group contacts as families. Currently the only way to group contacts is through "Companies" but that doesn't really work for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automation and workflows have significantly changed the way our admissions process works. It's much more efficient now and gives our admissions officers more time to spend talking to families (rather than replying to and sending emails). The meetings function is also a huge time saver in back-and-forth emails they used to have to do with families to schedule a tour or shadow day. The analytics will be helpful as well in setting goals for the coming year and figuring out what worked and what didn't.

It's aesthetically pleasing & intuitive. Made it very easy for the team to adopt.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a marketer, I'm still waiting for them to build more advanced full-funnel marketing attribution reporting, like Pardot has.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it every day, the drag and drop email builder saves me a ton of time. We migrated off of Salesforce and now just use 1 CRM across sales and marketing. It's way more efficient and saves money.
Lacks Key Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
We like the history of the interactions with the client.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without the ability to clone, renewals are difficult and time consuming. The cloning functionality has been upvoted by over a hundred clients. Still doesn't seem to be on the road map.

More thorough understanding of our customers, interactions, and buyers journey.

Look for something that suits your needs now as opposed to going with a solution and hoping they will implement what you need.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that web reporting functions are integrated and they partner with good name companies of features is a plus. For example, they've released a new embedded video player through Vidyard.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is very unfriendly. In the example above for video, it is great to have but then I need to pay extra for it to be embedded in emails.
Also, their pricing on contacts is really not useful considering growth companies can acquire contacts but need to plan over quarters on how best to utilize in outbounds yet I have to pay for those contacts in the CRM.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needed a fast and easy CRM to get going when the company started. We've been using it for twenty months and it's fulfilled what we needed it to do up to now. We will grow and change out of it in the next year.

Fine enough tool to get your startup off the ground with a CRM as long as you can afford the steep price.
Great tools, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot CRM helps us keep track of the buying and browsing patterns of our customers. It helps us develop a customised approach for each customer, which we've found way more effective than untargeted messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to create mass actions, eg categorising more than 1 contact under a certain property. The CRM can sometimes be a little buggy too - occasional error messages. The manage duplicates tool is very welcome, but doesn't work that well yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to effectively track where leads are on the sales pipeline. The sales team has become more productive, and as a sales manager, I'm better able to track their performance and guide them.

What do you like best about the product?
I was trying to learn how to market my previous business when I found Hubspot. After 2 months of learning about Inbound and using the Hubspot tools, I sold the other business and started this agency. I love working with Hubspot, the tools and the people. Their support and ongoing education are priceless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating and deleting personas is tough. It's hard to find the page for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to keep track of conversations with current and prospective clients so anyone in the organization can pick up where the last person left off with them. It makes people feel heard. They love us for it!
