Efficient for bug tracking and great collaboration tool

  • June 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Track test cases, bugs, and tasks with clear status, priority, and ownership
Collaborate across teams with comments, mentions, and linked tickets
The UI is clean but can be overwhelming for new users due to its flexibility and depth.
Atlassian support is fairly responsive via tickets and community forums.

Documentation is exhaustive, but personalized support sometimes lags for lower-tier plans.

Once familiar, navigating dashboards, boards, filters, and reports becomes intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Performance issues with large-scale projects – When handling hundreds of test cases or issues, the UI can feel sluggish and time-consuming.
Without plugins like Zephyr or Xray, it lacks built-in support for structured test case design and execution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to track bugs, user stories, test tasks, and sprints in a centralized platform. It enables real-time collaboration between developers, testers, and product teams, ensuring clear ownership and visibility. With custom workflows, dashboards, and integration with tools like Zephyr, Jenkins, and Git, Jira has significantly improved traceability, productivity, and release confidence in our QA cycle.

From Planning to Delivery: How JIRA Keeps Things Moving

  • June 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about JIRA is how seamlessly it brings structure to the chaos of product and engineering work. It makes sprint planning, task tracking, and progress monitoring feel organized and reliable, especially when you set up workflows and automations well. Once configured properly, JIRA reduces a lot of manual back-and-forth and ensures that nothing slips through the cracks. It gives me (and the team) confidence that work is moving forward with visibility and accountability baked in.
What do you dislike about the product?
JIRA can feel unnecessarily complex at times, especially for smaller teams or when you're trying to make quick changes. Simple actions often require multiple clicks or admin access, which slows things down. The interface isn’t always intuitive, and it can be overwhelming for new users. Also, performance can lag occasionally, which is frustrating when you're in the middle of sprint planning or triaging issues. Once you’ve set it up, it works well—but getting there can take more time and effort than it should.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA helps solve the problem of scattered communication and lack of visibility in product and engineering workflows. It brings everything—from sprint planning and task tracking to bug triaging and release management - into a single structured space. With clear ownership, statuses, and priorities, the team stays aligned, and I can easily track progress without constant check-ins. The automation and workflow features also reduce manual follow-ups and ensure that nothing gets missed, which saves time and keeps projects moving smoothly.

Streamlines collaboration between design, product, and engineering

  • June 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Jira brings much-needed structure and visibility to cross-functional work. As a designer, I love that I can track tasks, link Figma files, add context, and keep everything organized in one place. It helps ensure design is part of the agile process — not an afterthought. I also appreciate the customizable workflows, clear status updates, and how easy it is to collaborate with PMs and developers. The integrations with Confluence and Slack make it even more seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira can feel overwhelming at first, especially for new users. The interface isn’t always intuitive, and setting up or navigating boards can take time to get used to. It’s also easy for things to get buried if the board isn’t well-maintained. For designers, a more visual or flexible way to organize creative work would be helpful — like moodboards or visual task previews.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is solving the problem of misalignment and scattered communication across teams. Before using it, design tasks often felt disconnected from the overall development workflow. Now, everything — from design tickets and feedback to sprint planning and release tracking — lives in one place. This centralization helps me stay in sync with product managers and engineers, reduces back-and-forth, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks. It’s easier to prioritize, track progress, and make sure design decisions are tied to real timelines and goals. Overall, it’s helping me work more efficiently and collaboratively while keeping a clear view of the bigger picture.

Powerful and flexible tool for managing tasks, tracking issues, and collaborating across teams

  • June 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is how customizable and structured Jira is for managing projects and tickets. It supports detailed task tracking, allows us to create custom workflows, and gives visibility into progress with Kanban or Scrum boards. The integration with tools like Confluence, Slack, and GitHub makes it even more powerful. It’s easy to collaborate, assign tasks, set due dates, and maintain accountability across departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira can be a bit complex to learn at first, especially when configuring new workflows or understanding permission schemes. Sometimes, the UI feels crowded, and performance can be slower with large-scale projects. However, once familiar with the interface, it becomes a very efficient system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves the challenge of keeping track of multiple ongoing tasks, bugs, and cross-team deliverables. It helps ensure that nothing falls through the cracks, especially in fast-paced or remote environments. It also provides clear visibility into timelines and accountability, which helps reduce delays and improve team coordination. For support teams, it’s essential for escalating and tracking resolutions efficiently.
