Tickets can sometimes be lost due to filters or wrongly applied views
A learning curve to understanding different objects, filters, and applications
Moderately difficult implementation due to range of options - easy to start with basic features, requires more effort to configure more complex projects

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is helping me keep track of in progress work, manage time/allocations, and communicate with team members. It's robust data collection helps me and my team learn about what projects are taking more or less time and refine our processes accordingly.

Best part is how easily you can track tasks, bugs, and progress with boards and workflows — keeps the whole team on the same page.

Sometimes it feels too complex with so many options, and loading dashboards or filters can be slow at times.

As a project manager, I might find Jira's complexity and steep learning curve to be a drawback, especially when onboarding new team members or working with less tech-savvy stakeholders. Additionally, its pricing structure and the potential for feature bloat in larger instances could become a concern, leading to unnecessary costs or overwhelming options that hinder rather than help efficiency.

Real-time visibility into tasks, releases, and progress. Dashboards and automation provide valuable project insights .

Initially was bit confusing for me as I am from non technical background but not it is quite helpful for us in HR deapartment - we are using Jira workforce management

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is incredibly flexible. You can tailor workflows, issue types, fields, and boards to match your team’s exact process. Whether you're doing Scrum, Kanban, or something in between, Jira can adapt.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira is not beginner-friendly. It takes time to understand how everything fits together—especially if you're new to Agile or project management tools in general.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helped me bring structure and clarity to my projects with powerful tools for tracking, collaboration, and workflow management. However, it took time and patience to learn its complex interface and set it up in a way that truly worked for my team.
A perfect tool for PM and Management
What do you like best about the product?
The UI and the Interface the user can easily see the app and understand the user interface

Some option are not required like time logging or some analytics option have to be access takes some navigation

Resource Allocation and bug management is a big issue with jira easy user interface and good use case it can help me to manage people resource and also manage bugs created by the QA

I wish there was more customization for dashboards

Jira helps me file and track bugs as well as file product enhancements and minor requests. I am able to track what I file as well as peers and understand the roadmap of my company.
