Empowers Teams with Custom Workflows and Seamless Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Jira is that I can create projects, and whenever there is a new feature requirement, we can create a ticket for that task and assign it to specific teammates. We can also track the ticket status, and the workflow is fully customizable based on our process. In addition to that, Jira provides clear visibility into progress through boards, filters, and reports, which makes it easy to track sprint progress and identify blockers early. Another thing I like is the collaboration and documentation support. Comments, attachments, and activity history help keep all discussions and updates in one place, so nothing is missed.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Jira is that when I first started using it, it felt very complex and overwhelming. The UI has a lot of options, and it takes time to understand how everything works. However, after using it daily, I got used to the interface. Another issue is that sometimes the drag-and-drop functionality for tickets is not very smooth, especially when boards have many columns or filters applied. In addition, Jira can feel heavy and slow at times, particularly on large projects with many tickets and custom fields. Also, too much customization can sometimes make workflows confusing, especially for new team members who are not familiar with the project setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves the problem of organizing, tracking, and managing work efficiently across teams, and it benefits me by giving clear visibility and control over the entire development lifecycle. When there is a new feature requirement, JIRA helps manage the status of that feature from start to end. First, I create a story, and inside that story, I create feature tickets and assign them to specific team members. Once assigned, the team member starts working on it.Jira allows us to define a custom status workflow, meaning we can control which status comes next. Team members update the status as work progresses, and after proper deployments in production, the ticket is marked as done or closed. If any issue is raised, the QA team creates a bug ticket and assigns it to the responsible team member. We can also set the priority of the ticket. High-priority issues are resolved immediately, while low-priority issues can be handled later. Using Jira, I can create sprints and add tasks to them. After sprint completion, we can clearly see the status of tasks, the percentage of work completed, and perform sprint analysis. Jira also allows adding estimated time and actual time on tickets, which helps track work duration and analyze task complexity and efforts. in each ticket we can add detailed descriptions, Figma links, and comments We can tag other team members in comments so they receive notifications and can respond quickly. Also Jira provides reports like burndown charts and velocity reports, which help analyze team performance and improve future sprint planning; it maintains a complete history of tickets, making it easy to track changes, decisions, and accountability over time.
Exceptional Workflow Management and Team Visibility
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Jira is how well it handles complex workflows. It’s very flexible when it comes to creating issues, tracking progress, and managing sprints. Once things are set up properly, it gives clear visibility into what’s being worked on, what’s blocked, and what’s coming next, which is really helpful for cross-functional teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside for me is that Jira can feel overwhelming, especially for new users. There are a lot of settings, fields, and options, and it’s easy to get lost if you’re not familiar with it. Sometimes performance can also feel a bit slow, particularly on large projects with many tickets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves the problem of managing work at scale. Instead of tracking tasks across emails, spreadsheets, or chats, everything lives in one system with clear ownership and status. This benefits me by improving accountability, reducing confusion, and helping teams stay aligned. It makes planning, execution, and follow-ups much more structured and predictable.
Enhances Agile Management with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I find Jira valuable for enhancing task visibility and tracking. I like how it allows for workflow management with standardized processes, yet it's flexible with customizable workflows. It effectively supports agile projects, helping teams adapt quickly to changes in priority. Custom workflows reduce confusion and delays, and the centralized communication feature boosts team collaboration. The clear visibility of tasks keeps everyone aligned. I enjoy the agile boards like Scrum and Kanban because they make sprint planning and backlog management simple. I am also appreciative of Jira’s task organization and management features. I found Jira's initial setup to be easy and simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Custom dashboards need to be improved to make them easy and simple. Also, reporting and dashboards are not clear – they're good but can be improved. There could be enhancements with real-time data, customized visualization, predictive analysis, and easier sharing across the team to make project tracking more actionable and collaborative.

I use Jira for task visibility, tracking, and workflow management. It provides agile support, helps adapt to changes in priority, reduces confusion, and centralizes communication for better collaboration. Custom workflows and task visibility keep the team aligned.
Essential Project Management with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I find Jira very easy to set up and use, especially for project management, which makes it valuable for my work. I like how it simplifies managing everything in one place, from backlog creation to user stories, testing workflows, estimation, and mapping with bug defects. The tool is crucial for handling IT projects effectively, providing simplicity and facilitating the checking of estimations, burndown charts, and defect tracking. I appreciate how Jira streamlines my workflow and supports traceability metrics, which is essential for my project's success.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the need for plugins like the x-ray tool for writing test cases inconvenient. It would be better if these were built into Jira, so we don't have to rely on plugins. The flow could be more convenient and there should be more built-in traceability and graph options for tracking the work.

Jira helps me with project management, time tracking, task and bug management, creating burn down charts, and testing, providing traceability metrics.
Powerful Project Tracking, But Steep Learning Curve for New Users
What do you like best about the product?
I like Project Tracking capabilities of Jira and it's highly customizable ,agile support workflow. The dashboard and integration with tools like GIT make team collaboration and tracking effectively.Its Customer Support is also good.
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels complex and hard to use for the new users like me although it is implementation with other tool is good but UI which distrub the ease of use. From long time we are using this frequently.

This is a great tool for project management, especially when it comes to Development and Deployment projects. It really helps streamline the process and keep everything organized.

The Ultimate Tool for Agile Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Jira for the last 8 years, and it has made project management so easy. From planning a project, creating epics and stories, to organizing and tracking bugs, Jira provides a hassle-free and simple way to manage projects and defects. It's the best tool to manage agile projects. I love that it's a very easy, single platform where the entire project team, from product owners to the development and testing teams, can manage and track projects. As a test manager, I can create my own dashboards to track bug status and progress for multiple projects, and I can prepare and extract different reports from Jira, which helps with the test management process. Using Jira's dashboards and reporting capabilities allows us to work on multiple projects simultaneously during different releases, and easily send reports to the team. The platform is easy for the team to learn, although some initial training was required. Overall, I appreciate how Jira facilitates collaboration and makes project management as seamless as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an auto reminder notification feature to send reminders to all the bug or user story assignees to finish their pending tasks. It would help reduce manual effort.

Powerful Tool with a Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I love Jira's customizable boards because teams can really tailor them to their workflow. It's great for issue tracking, helping us manage tasks and bugs effectively. The support for Agile through Scrum and Kanban boards is super helpful for agile teams. I also appreciate how well Jira integrates with lots of other tools like Slack and GitHub.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Jira's complexity overwhelming for new users or small teams. Some customization options have limitations that make setting up specific workflows or fields tricky. Also, Jira's reporting can be quirky, as users sometimes want more flexible or intuitive options.

I use Jira for project visibility, task management, collaboration, and reporting, which helps my team track progress, prioritize tasks, and improve processes.

Work management
Good for tracking SAP workstreams, but the UI is a mess if you don't stay on top of it
What do you like best about the product?
The main thing for me is the transparency it gives our client. When we are in the middle of a messy SAP EWM integration things get lost in email way too easily. I like that I can link a specific MM configuration ticket directly to the functional spec in Confluence. It saves me from having to explain the same logic to the offshore team five times. Also the bulk edit feature is a lifesaver when the client changes their priority on 40 different warehouse testing scripts at once. It just works and doesn't require a lot of overhead.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly? The notifications are a nightmare. If I do not spend an hour silencing the noise my inbox just becomes a Jira graveyard. And do not get me started on the loading times for Advanced Roadmaps when you have more than 500 issues in a plan. It gets sluggish. Also for something that is supposed to be agile setting up a new workflow for an SAP transport process feels way too rigid. You basically need a PhD in JQL just to pull a report that shows me which IDocs are actually blocking our UAT.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to manage the handoff between the strategy phase and the actual build for a CPG client. Jira helps us see where the bottlenecks are in the MM-to-WMS integration. Before this we had people working on outdated Excel sheets. Now at least there is a single source of truth even if that truth is sometimes buried under a dozen sub-tasks. It has kept our SIT from falling apart by making sure every bug has an owner and a deadline that people can actually see.
