It helps manage complex projects through clear visibility and structured workflows. The customisable issue tracking, agile boards, and seamless integration with development and testing tools make it easy to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure our team stays aligned on goals and priorities.

Great tools to track team's progress
What do you like best about the product?
Creating plans is something that I like the most in Jira. For a major project that we have to start work on, we will create a plan and add tickets based on assignees. We will then put some ballpark dates against each ticket in order to see the gantt-chart of the project - after which we can then convey the deadline of a project.
Plans in jira have capability to bring in visibility for everyone involved in a project. We can clearly mark tasks as blcoked / can be done after in Jira plan

What do you dislike about the product?
UI for Bulk update feature of Jira seems bit off track. I think its quite cumbersome to bulk update tickets in Jira. We have to do multiple clicks, the UI is out of overall design - and feels somewhat like that of legacy software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is solving project management related problems for us. We work in an organization that works on multiple projects in parallel. Bringing visibility is the key outcome that we look for when we use Jira. Jira Plans does that quite well by correctly highlighting blockers, assigning tasks, tracking progress against planned date etc. This kind of visibility is something that jira efficiently brings for us and that too with ease.
